Very well done, Ryan. I'm 80 years old and in very good shape. Hobbyist performance car mechanic so know the ropes with tools, etc. So thinking on this kind of project. Your orderly planning and related steps are essential for this kind of job. I will track your videos which also are well done. Thanks.
Thank you, sir! This is a heck of a project, and I imagine much of your abilities in the garage, honed by wrenching on cars, translates to a project like this. It would be a good fit!
Love your attitude Ryan. Accepting space limitations, potential unnecessary sanding, you just suck it up and keep building, I think that’s important. Great stuff.
Absolutely love the sections in this video to know what part is which. I’m sure for other builders out there, it would be extremely helpful as they can scroll through to an exact part they may need help on! Congrats again on getting to the firewall! 🎉
Nice that you live close to Vans headquarters. Need a part… hop in the car and get it. I live as far east from Vans and still be in the U.S. as you can get. Continued success on your plane.
Chomp Chomp is a cool name for an equally cool dog. I really love that dog-he’s the best natured animal I’ve had. And thanks for the compliment-truly appreciated!
Great episode. I still think those wings would look great hanging in your living room and give you some more space. Don’t they have to be temperature stabilized for several months so the rivets harden and achieve full strength? ;)
I do have an extinguisher. I never really thought about a fast exit. I’ve pretty well blocked off front and back. Hopefully the fire isn’t in the house, because that’s my only way out! The boots are from Danner. I’ve had them for about 10 years. I don’t know if they make this model anymore-they’re about to need new soles.

Thanks so much! I’m having the time of my life with this thing!
Good video. Slow and steady wins the race.
Thank you! It’ll look like a plane before I know it, I’m sure.

I made it! And!: WITHOUT CUTTING MYSELF!
From what I've read elsewhere, that's trophy worthy stuff right there.

Continued success on your plane.
It’s proven advantageous once or twice!
Saves on freight for the big kits too, though I still have to rent a U-Haul for them.
Fun build to watch, thanks! And I like the name Chomp Chomp 😂

Awesome stuff. Keep it up!
Thank you very much!
Another Awesome video!
Thank you!
enjoying your build! Hopefully you get the space to put this thing together!
Holding out on a hanger as long as possible. It’ll have to be moved before I know it!
Great video, where did you score the model RV version?
Thank you!
Model is available for Horizon Hobby!

Ok, but only if you’re helping up the stairs…
I hope you have fire extinguishers handy just in case lol since the best exit is now blocked haha. Also, what boots do you have? they look nice!

That guy in the sunglasses likes to watch, but it would be nice if he would at least help with inventory or something. 😂
Although if I was smart I’d blame more mistakes on him…
@@RyanFlysPDX your idea is not without merit.
