You're the best, Nick! BTW, can you tab all your courses for us non reading guitarists?

You could learn to read...it's easier than reading guitar tab

"Learn to read music. It's easier than tab." -- Jimmy Bruno, jazz guitarist. To that, I would add that you will get the note and rest durations. After a while, you can feel the rhythm just looking at the music.

    Thank you for this Nick!
Just out of interest - is that a Yanagisawa 900 series that you are playing here?
For many years I have been playing an Elimona S880 from them.
The keywork feels relatively similar when I switch from my Selmer Series 3 alto.

Hey guys, just trying to understand the choice of chords to superimpose over each chord - why do each of these chords work over each change in the chart?

For Guitarists; The piece sits better on guitar if you move it up a half step. Let's you exploit certain natural aspects of the guitar. Some people just hate moving keys I know. There was one Kooky woman who plays sax on YT acting like a nut because a guiartist wanted to play Mercy Mercy Mercy in E maj. ...works better for guiatar. Well your channel is a lot better than hers anyway...LOL.

Nick, I suppose you do this in the course, but why do you play so fast when your goal, in this video, is to teach? Most players who are not virtuosos will not hear the beauty of the triad notes against the chords unless you slow it down.

There are 2 tracks a slow and a fast one in the resource. I chose the faster on this video as I consider it to be more apt for TH-cam as it is higher energy. Yes, I included some faster phrases to illustrate the beauty of the triad pairs, that they can sound like flowing water, played fast. Do not worry, as the resource includes a super slow drone video demonstration of the shapes.jazzduets.com/products/little-sunflower-triad-pair-exercises
Learning a language can be frustrating at times. I struggled for a long time to hear spoken Spanish here in Argentina. I would have liked the people to speak slower in Buenos aires, so I know what you mean, about slowing things down, but still it is a dichotomy as lines sound different slow.
