sorry to say so , but for me most of these '"slanted" photos do not work ! One more thing, it seems you have not exposed richly and so sometimes the darks are completely lifeless -- so perhaps using a different way of exposure metering or just not exposing too much for the highlights like you would do on digital may be a solution, and you can recover some highlights better in the workflow after you scan the photos i guess.
