Wow, this is the first TH-camr I've seen do a DML who's life DIDN'T suck ass.

Pokémon X And Y has a special place in my heart. You know that Pokémon Game that you grew up with? X And Y (particularly Y) was that game for me. A lot of people think that X And Y are the worst of the games because they're the easiest games but I ignore them because I grew attached to it.
That's cool, people that demine others for the region the started in is stupid. I love platinum because it was my first game and Sinnoh is boss but if Kalos was your first region then more power to you and people should respect that.
yeah, platinum was the first game I played, and I loved it and love shinnoh to pieces. Buy I always feel as if shinnoh did dint have as many of its own "original" pokemon. like they didn't have as much of pokemon from its own region. But still it's famous for having one of the hardest campions.

I remember my first Pokemon game being yellow, such good times, I always played it non stop, that's when Pokemon got me hooked on charizard and pikachu!! My favorite duo tbh. You keep doing what you love bud

heck I still do but pokemania was never a thing back when I was at school so I was seen as a loser to begin with.
but I didn't really care since I loved pokemon enough that it didn't bother me plus I moved schools by year 5 and to my surprise got a taste of what pokemania was shortly before gen 3 started.
and it was amazing and since i didn't have internet at the time it was also the first time i heard of missingno which blew my mind as a kid
anyways keep making great videos and continue to grow you deserve it :D.

Just watching your videos brings out the pokemon fan in me. Heck, even watching this makes me want to go ahead and replay Diamond and even Red! And I'm 13, so for some reason, I have a tendency to do the opposite of kids my age, I buy games from 1990.
Same here! I'm 14 and I try to get as many games for things like the NES as possible! Glad I'm not the only kid my age who does stuff like that.

Jwittz i just want to thank you i too was bullied for several reasons as a kid and Pokemon always gave me a feeling of freedom and power that i could do what i wanted and wreck anyone i wanted whenever i wanted. i started to fall out of Pokemon around diamond and pearl because people made fun of me for being to old but your videos told me there were other people that didn't care how old they were and just played the games anyway. Pokemon had a huge impact on my life and you helped me remember that.
And now he has nearly double the subscriber count this video celebrates. I wonder what's in store for the epic 1,000,000-subs benchmark? I can't wait to find out!

Lesson 1: Less Talent, More Money!
My brother and I are the Pokemon masters of our neighborhood, with our brute force tactics, balanced teams, and very well picked items. We also have finished breeding all the Kanto shinies! Yay! With X and Y now, I got X, and my brother got Y. Now we constantly battle each other to gain the title of the real Pokemon Master. Also... Go team Fennekin!
Hmmm... Reminds me of my friend and I's rise to glory in the Greentree apartment complex in Headland Alabama. Man, I wish Antwaun and I could challenge you two to a double battle but, we only play Gen 3. I personally don't have a set paradigm when it comes to tactics, as I prefer a more random-yet-adaptable crossover battle style.
Prof-it became popular because of how funny and cool it was. I remember being in fourth grade and waiting for the next prof-it episode to come out, I always wanted to trade with you and I never really cared about the quality. The first episode of Prof-it was AMAZING and I loved it. That could be nastalgia but what ever. I even remember actually winning in some tournaments after taking your advice. J-Wittz if you are reading this tell us if you are going to make any more episodes of Prof-it, we can take it... Hopefully.
He also should have talked about Prof-it in this video so people who have never heard of it would know.

Oh my gosh, my entire life is morphing into yours. For real! I'm at the exact age that your turning point hit and all the same things are happening to me! My cute freckles are turning into clumpy things that I'm praying aren't early stages of skin cancer. And me being cool for knowing a lot about Pokémon is suddenly vanishing before my eyes. But hearing how your life changed for the best, I have faith. JWittz, you really are the thing that keeps me from breaking down every day. Thanks for always being there on the days that I just need to cool down and be happy. Never stop posting videos! Please!!!

Not neccesarily. Although it is 24 years between 1990 and 2014; you have to take into account the month we're in and when JWittz was born. If JWittz was born between Jan and May; then I'd agree, he's now 24; but if its any day beyond today; he's still 23 until that day.

Goddamit these people were in the same situation as me, but instead of being depressed, hopeless, and fat in high school actually talked to people, did shit, and became awesome youtubers. My life doesn't totally suck balls. I have a great family. I get good grades. But the one thing that's bothered me my whole life is No. Friends. No friends. That's been an issue for such a long time I'm tired of it. But because of this I haven't embraced any community and now whenever I go to any event, even something related to video games, I'm out of the loop. I follow the news and what's going on in the industry, sure, but there's no one to talk to about it. I'm literally the only person in my family who gives a shit about gaming. How does one make friends this way? Social anxiety doesn't help at all by the way. Yeah. I feel stuck. I've always felt stuck. So stuck that I actually spend time writing all this out in a TH-cam comment I know will only be seen by people I don't know and never will know. Making friends without having friends is like catching pokémon without ever having a starter. Can someone just give me a choice of 3 great friends and then I'll go from there? Yeah no. I try to get to know people, and on some occasions I've been successful, but it's never gone beyond the superficial stage. Where we just talk because we're there and don't want an awkward silence. We talk about things we know we don't care about. But if I talk about something like pokémon they either have no idea what I'm talking about or they ask "you still play pokémon/games/that thing?" I tried TH-cam. Was pretty good at it for a couple of years. But I was too busy having school and being depressed, so I quit. Plus, it's not like I didn't have my share of online assholes too. I actually made some amazing friends online, but they never got closer than online, and eventually the friendships died out because reasons. Even that one friendship that lasted 2 or 3 years. So yeah. What do I do. So much to say, yet no way to say it. One thing's for sure, doing nothing but complaining sure doesn't get ya anywhere. But what do I do? How do I get out of this quicksand of pity, loneliness, frustration, blah blah blah? Holy shit.
That being said, great to hear, Jwitz. I feel ya, and I wish you the best with the rest of your TH-cam career and life in general.

SuperEffectivePoni, I know how you feel, I have no friends at all and it doesn't help that im homeschooled, I also get terrible grades and im really stressed because of it, pokemon is the only thing that lets me escape these sad things
It will get better I promise. In kindergarten I had only a couple friends. But as I got older I started talking to people and asking how there day was and asking if I could do anything for them if there day is bad. As I got older(I'm only 13) people started talking to me. Hope this helps. :)

It's awesome that you got a lot of support and love what you do. I heard a saying once, I think it was a Chinese proverb that said "Love what you do, and you will not work a single day of your life." It's technically work, but because its fun it doesn't seem like work.

Your story is a lot like my friend's. I used to be practically his only friend when he first came to my home town. Saying he was "Bullied" was an understatement, everyone hated him, he got booed if he went up in front of class, and a lot of other things. We were both huge nerds. Later on he gained more self confidence. He's now got a good group of friends, and we're both sophmores in high school, I'm a black belt, and a tournament fighter, and my friend is a great wrestler that could be going to the states competition this year. Still as good as friends as back in grade school. However he hit a massive growth spurt and now he's a monster while I'm about lower 5 feet tall and not particularly muscular. I swear, you've never seen two people that look so different.

I really love those draw my life videos, so many of the stories resonate with me. It makes me feel less alone and that one day I'll find the people and place where I belong. I know that's really cringey but it's really encouraging to know that there are others who feel the same as me.
Man, I want to learn how to make videos soon so I can be as awesome as all the people I watch. So glad you made your channel Mr. The JWittz, I don't have many TH-camrs I can watch who do Pokemon stuff and I'm glad you're one of the few.
Oh and I feel you, JWittz. This term of college was stressful for me. Not because of a huge workload but because of a lot of personal issues. Even though I had an awesome roommate and some acquaintances in my dorm hall, I was stressed due to loneliness, anxiety about the future, among other things. I even said things like ''I hate my life'' and ''There is no such thing as happiness''. Thankfully, my dad helped me get though it with his counseling and I'm finishing the term strong.

Hey Jwittz, of all the other videos like this, yours is the closest to my reality. I am still trying hard to figure out my passion and ways to earn a degree but it's difficult without having a support group. I hope that I can grow into a great pokemon master such as yourself because in my opinion, being a pokemon master is not limited to the games, but to incorporate the positivity from the show and what nots to have fun and enjoy life. You are so lucky to get to do what you do and I am sure that there are many others who are admiring you because I am one of the now. Especially after getting to see you on the king of the nerds! I was rooting for you to be the winner since I found out you were the pokemon master of this seasons series. You made it a personal dream come true that dreams really are achievable, no matter the situation and surroundings we have. I wish you many positive things and will get super nerdy if ever I got to meet you in person. I'm 25 and am the only I know who still sees the fun about pokemon. I am constantly suppressing my joy of pokemon and have my things put into a box but continue to let it get full because I hide my passion from others out of fear of the rejection and "jokes" however I will do my best to be able to truly express my happiness of pokemon and being comfortable to have the brand of 'having to grow up' and being that 'loser that doesn't understand reality. It will be difficult but I have got to try, you were able to see the greener side of the field and I hope I can too. I can't wait to watch your next new pokemon videos and a chance to return to the king of the nerds!

This whole story is really just terribly cute and inspirational, and I have come back to watch it multiple times. It just makes me happy to watch it! And I'm so happy for you and Renae! Hope all goes well for you in the future!
I'm only twelve, but I'm the picture of a geek and often got teased about my lack of physical finesse and ability, and spent time reading and rereading my favorite series, like Eragon and such, until a teacher came up to me in year 3 or 3rd grade while I was reading at lunch, and took my book away, and told me to get friends, so I mainly had to hide while reading.

This life reminds me of a little bit of my life, when i was little kid nobody wanted to be my friend cuz they thought at me as a weirdo, even my cousins dont want to be with me, however when i got my gamecube(which was my first system) i started feeling happy and forgeting about my troubles, even my first pokemon game "Pokemon XD" made me like pokemon, even when i dont understand how to play it XD. But when i became older i started getting respect from people and family and became a pokemon lover, thank u for posting this cuz this reminds me how hard my life was till now, it isnt
Josh, I've had the exact same bullying issue twice in my life, with exactly the same solution. It's nice to see that I wasn't the only one that had to make difficult decisions like that, but you have to be super careful not to go overboard.

I Must say. I personally never watched the series apart from a episode here an there, watched the first 2 movies and never played any of the games (mostly because i never had money to get either consoles or games). So i never became a active watcher or player But i still love many of your videos. They are interesting enouh and varied enough to be worth watching even if you´re not really interested in pokemon at all. And i´d say that that is a proof of how good and interesting your videos are.

The same thing happened to me in fifth grade got a growth spurt and in second grade i met my friend he had a huge love for pokemon and hes like isn't pokemon the greatest and i am like its ok mario is way better tho but over the years around third grade i loved pokemon and started playing the games watching the anime not really the cards but were slowly growing to them!Congrats to Jwittz

I'm only 13, and when you said "and we started to play diamond and pearl, i mean it was 2007" i freaked out because that was my birthday present when i turned 7 and it was probably one of the best days of my life. then i realized that you were in high school then and i'm going into high school next year. wow time scares me by how fast it moves.

I have thought of an idea where they make a spin-off game for Wii U and it is ALL ABOUT POKEMON CONTESTS! You can use combo moves to get special contest moves, you get battles, and points, so on. I would LOVE that.

Hey I have no idea what to say besides I'm a really good Pokemon fan(not as long as you but still) I've been growing up slowly getting away from Pokemon and getting into the Xbox games but now I've fallen backwards and got back into Pokemon (beaten D P B & W a lot moe then once) I've been with you since I think 100'000 subs. And I'm really happy to see that you Channel has grown so much. Anyways just saying love your videos and your lets plays can't wait to see how much more your channel can grow :)
