Eventually, you get to a point in your life where you become more conscious. I love loud sounds from race cars, but theres a place and time for everything. This car is perfectly fine the way it is. A perfect daily that you can take to a track and have fun. Amazin car.
Is sonic gray the best color for this car?
The exhaust sounds awesome, but I really think the OEM inlet pipe on the FL5 just looks too good to remove! reminds me of the RBC or RBB intake manifold swaps every K20 NA build was running
Great video showing install and sound! I personally will just keep mine stock so i don't highlight the exhaust but instead highlight my "whooosh" from my PRL HVI
I get that same worship from my drop in K&N air filter. I'm wondering if I got the PRL if it would be louder?
Great product install video! Induction noise is considerably improved and much more audible but the exhaust is still somewhat lacking, which is to be expected with modern boosted vehicles.
I actually like the sound, what I can't deal with are the blue tips. It completely wrecks my White/Black/Red spec'd car.
Tape off and paint black!
I like stock revs more I think...but I also don't wanna be "flashy" with exhaust....and this color also makes it more "mellow". Usually black or red is aggresive looking but ..I don't know...this color is growing on me.
I have always hated muffler upgrades but the look got me curious.. Gotdammit does that sound nice and now pricing this out for my 2024. Is this like getting a tattoo, will I want more?

Like that the oem valve is kept, personally like twin exit but this looks good.
What material is the oem front pipe made of?
I believe its just stainless.
@@vivid_racing I may be wrong, but might be worth researching Titanium and Stainless, and how the two don’t get along. Could be the grade of the two, but pretty sure when the two metals are touching it’ll cause corrosion.
@@davidd7175 Aluminum and titanium yes, stainless and titanium no. It wont cause a galvanic corrosion.
I’ll stick with my AWE Track exhaust. By far the best sounding IMO.
Facts, makes it sound insanely good
haven't watched the full video yet but what's the name of that color? it looks so fire
Sonic Gray Pearl
The neighbors would be pissed. I agree the stock is too quiet., but I've yet to see one that's just right. It seems most of you youngsters would just assume run a straight pipe from the header to maximize pain and suffering on all those who are in your path. And for this car, it doesn't seem you even need a different exhaust to significantly increase power. Track sound, I get it, but that's not going to stop you from driving it to Kroger as well, pissing off everyone along the way. Thankfully, this car is out of the price range of most of the knucklenuts that would do that, for now.
speedwinner!
wonder how it sounds catless? 🤔
Terrible
God yeah
VTEC IS DADDY

Is sonic gray the best color for this car?
That’s more of a preference thing, I honestly love the blue or white but I hear a lot of people hate the blue with the red interior. I actually like it like that, it kinda reminds me of spider man though I do hate the carpet also being the same red
@ fair enough bro 👊
Sounds like fart.
💀😩
1. Pay it off. 2. Get a rwd beater for the track because this isn’t a race car. 3. Enjoy it as what it is, a perfect daily.
Technically it is a race car. The “R” in type R stands for racing.
While I agree with your points, I also think if you’re paying for the car, enjoy it how you wish! After all, the Type R was literally developed on the track for track driving.
Nah man car is built for the track. It’s not a perfect daily at all. Lol. The ac in it sucks. It’s stiff as fuck n who wants to daily stickshift in traffic everyday for work. Bought mine specifically to track. Yea there’s better option for track but u drive what u love. I literally beat a bunch of rwd cars today in time.
@@ll.7927 Why would you pay for full interior, any kind of hvac system, blind spot monitoring, an automated cruise control, and no cage for a dedicated track car? Guarantee you would have more fun with a gutted out brz/350z that wouldn’t change your life if you put into a wall.

Tell me you can’t afford a type r without telling me you can’t 😂😂
Who's your daddy? VTEC is your daddy! Sweet looking exhaust yo, wish i could afford that! 😂😢
lul sounds kinda meh tbh
Guy sounds like most of the aftermarket out there, actually when you took of it sounded worse...back up the mic on the exhaust....closer isn't louder good ball.
Thanks for the feedback? 😂😘
