Picked up fox a month ago and have been enjoying him a lot. Would you recommend trying to get every character to elite smash? I’ve been tempted to try but am not sure if it’s a waste of time.
I mean besides it just being an accomplishment I found that having an all around knowledge and ability to play most characters helps you not only develop as a player when it comes to neutral and decision making but it also helps you get a sense of how each character plays which can help you learn certain matchups for your real characters. When it comes to Fox I’ve found he is definitely a character that takes time and dedication to play optimally so if you were to start taking him seriously I would specialize with him rather than spacing out your time and dedication to different characters. So overall I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a waste of time to try and get everyone into elite but I definitely wouldn’t try and force yourself to do it if it becomes frustrating especially for certain niche characters. On the other hand who knows you might find a character along the way you realize you click with more than any characters you play now.
