I have one almost three years now and LIKE it. I personally did not have an issue with racking/feeding and so were my buddies who have used it. I do must add that the action got a lot smoother when you get past that break-in period…for mine around 70+ shells. I primarily shot rifled slugs and 00 bucks. With high velocity 2-3/4 1oz rifled slugs and a red dot zeroed at 25yds…we were hitting steel at 150yrd!! It is a fun shotgun to shoot especially with mini-slugs 22+1 smile-inducing close range shooting action! As for the felt recoil, well I must stress that it is in fact NOT THAT BAD and compared it with a Mossberg 500 with same shell load…the Mossberg 500 kicked a bit more harder. Only thing I did not like was the stock polymer trigger and pull weight…remedied that with McArbo trigger kit with definite improvement in trigger feel and about 50% less pull weight. KSG is a keeper for me.

I agree...pump action Berretta, Mossberg or Remington over these. Still a cool different shotgun, though.

I own both the KSG and the KS7, extended butt pads can be ordered to replaced the thin, picitinny rail can be put on both, that said they both work fine for me but I enjoy the KS7 more.

Had one for over 5 years ksg with magpul forward hand grip ... no issues with racking...

That's because these are a couple of idiots who have no business messing around with guns. Their behaviors exemplify the types of actions that are unacceptable when shooting highly dangerous weapons. They have absolutely no business creating videos like this presenting as role models for others. This is one of the reasons why unregulated internet is bad.
