Funny how perhaps you did not see how he said in a different video how having a paint correction associate is Team #2 in the process of painting. The don't over-think it is a very over simplification of a complex issue. Painting is NOT just about the paint.
@@anonimous2451 Agreed, painting can be very complex. I take "Don't overthink it" as one being allowed to have fun while painting. Man I just bought a whole setup and did my first ever gun paint job in a DIY booth. As soon as I started the job I realized the world of difference between aerosol and gun jobs. I would've been totally lost without your channel and the great videos you put out. I got a couple particles that landed in the clear but I should be able to sand and buff those out no problem. I seriously couldn't have done it without your videos. You had a video or videos that answered just about every question I had, showed how to fix errors like runs and particulate, and most of all reminded me to relax- afterall it's just paint! Overall I'm very stoked with how it came out- nice OEM orange peel with a smooth high gloss finish. Thanks again Brian!
My worse mishap was doing a 2tone Tahoe, top was going candy apple red.. I was reaching across that big hood and almost fell off my Harbor Freight stand and my stomach touched the fender!!!! Had to bake, sand and start over on that fender.
I adjusted my Walcom following this method and must say it’s awesome!!!!! Using Axalta clear coat G2 tha car looks factory!! I will sand and buff next and you can tell is going to be great!

A quick question from the uk. Looking at getting into a career as a paint technicians. Was just wondering if uk bodyshops/dealer repair facilities provide spray guns for their paint techs? Or if the paint techs have to provide their own guns? This is for UK based bodyshops
One of my best mistakes was when I was painting a door, blend into the fender and the other door. Pearl white. Put the wrong thing in the clear and there was no hardener in it. Had no idea til the next day it was still soft. We had to sand it all off, Prime it, and blend the quarter and hood.
Hi Brajan, I have a question: is the sealant the same as the wet-on-wet primer? In my country (Poland) I don't see this product, only wet-on-wet primer. Thank you 😉

Awesome video once again. Also on that bumper was it a pre primed replacement? If so do you skuff/ sand the manufacturer primer then use a 2k sealer flash then base?
You can do another coat of sealer but you can also put a coat or even two coats of blender. Extra slow I will run easy with straight black unless it’s summertime. Slow does very good for me. I have good luck turning my gun sideways and then hitting that lip that can be easy to run.
You mentioned before spraying sealer about that gun being great but not for show quality/restoration project,i got interesting question 😂 What would be your go to gun for that type of job, flat jobs if i can say it like that? Great video!

@stipq076 yeah I've had body guys do that a bunch of times. They didn't notice there was damage on both sides of the car. And the damage they repaired was worse then what was supposed to be repaired.
