I've wanted to do this since freshman year of college. And this year, I finally made it happen!
Big shoutout to the properties manager of my school's band building, who I became well acquainted with through constantly reserving the room with the percussion equipment in it lol

@@CameronBaba Awesome! How do you practice though? Like, a marimba takes up so much space so it's hard for me to imagine you own one yourself. Do you have to go to a special place everytime?
@@rowaldperquin i do! enormous shoutout to the properties manager at my university, because i was emailing her constantly asking when the room with the marimba was open lol. i've been getting in there a few hours each week for the past couple months to make this happen :,) kinda worried once i graduate i'll just never touch a marimba again 🫢
