    I have 2020 scout sixty and had the same issue trying to remove the existing exhaust. Indian must have changed the stock mounting in the past year or so.
    You have to remove both of the 8mm bolts because the stock exhaust mounting tabs are now on top of each other with the two bolts going though the upper and lower exhaust

    Just an unrelated question. I’ve just got back into biking after a 24yr hiatus. A bought myself a lovely ZZR1100 and all I seem to want to do is ride the thing like a madman, it just begs me to rip the throttle open and pin it, bloody nightmare. I really want to enjoy biking again without losing my license or something worse...
    I’m thinking about getting a bobber so I don’t feel the need to ride it like a lunatic.
    Do these bikes beg the inner demon or are they fun to ride without the need for speed?
    Sounds nice by the way.
    Cheers

    • @SpectrumGeeks
      @SpectrumGeeks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I don't think it begs to be driven like a demon. I actually forget how much power it has when I blip the throttle actually.
      I think it helps that it sounds loud ALL the time, so you don't feel like you need to push on alot to get it to growl. When on my CB1000R I deffo feel the desire to give it the beans more.

    • @SpectrumGeeks
      @SpectrumGeeks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @josephparry
      @josephparry 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SpectrumGeeks Not a chance unless they are mates of yours. I went through 3 places today to enquire about noise concerns and every garage said it would fail MOT. So I've just ordered the baffles. Plus I get such a headache riding with these, the idle sound is so obnoxiously loud there's no way I feel comfortable riding through a town / housing estate with them.
      I rode at 10mph through town with the clutch held in to be as quiet as possible and people were visually angered by the volume of my bike. It's the same bike as yours, and same pipes etc. So if you can actually ride with these with no issues, fair play. Far too loud for me personally, and I love rock/metal and loud shit haha :D
