Thanks for this, static is a big pain point in my training cuz I was never sure how to approach it. The bardpill method left me hard stuck in Plat voltaic, hopefully this can help me break through.
I've been struggling to stay around Iron for days and after following this I'm close to silver, for me this was a lightbulb moment so I'm gonna try and work on this going forward
still struggle with static but progress overall update I'm gm kovaaks season 5 with just pasu, ww5t, and 1w2ts as my non gm scores so GMC is next goal yayaya consistent progress anything is possible (I have astra snake track and a few nova smoothbot / precise tracking scores in other seasons aswell)
Interesting, this isn't too far off my static technique, granted im not a static grinder. I'm definitely going to try to emulate this, and maybe my clicking will fall more in line with my tracking skills lmao
thanks! im not sure to be honest if i will, i like to talk from experience and collecting knowledge from lots of people better than me and i still dont know much outside of static tbh. i think if i could improve more at the others i definitely could though :D
Hi bro! I am currently trying to switch to that technique for some reason, but I am still wondering. I thought that static is like a base level/skill, which you later use in target switching and dynamic clicking. But from what I have seen in vods of people you recommended (and you too) they still do more like a bardoz's flick (or just a normal flick) into approximation of a target and then correct in these categories. Cause of that it feels like developing static with this technique will not be utilised enough later? (and I wonder how this approach works for only horizontal flicks like target small owo or reflex scenarios in general).
theres no flick at all, they just glide at a very fast speed which is where you should be after doing the technique for a long time and perfecting it. this method is used for switching and dynamic clicking too, so its instantly transferable as well
Nice vid shimmy, I found the curved line tip when gliding helped with my accuracy when getting master static but do you think that might effect my performance in game?
thanks for this tutorial! i went from voltaic iron to celestial in 1 second! also i got a wife and kids now and i won a gazillion dollars from gambling! 🤑
@@shimmyfpswhats even the point when in the end it doesnt matter if u spend time microadjusting and flicking or gliding and decellerating cuz it takes the same exact time
I love this video but I don't know if I'm not understanding it correctly. I am a full fingertip grip user and I wanted to know what the best technique for stopping power is such as lifting your mouse and so on. Is this technique more about moving your mouse smoothly and not hard flicking? Also if you have the time can you please TH-cam Valorant Jora, their aim style is what i want...do you have any tips for that? I'm not saying it's optimal, I would just like to do it for fun. Thank you
some people do mouse lifting (i think from the cod community), i never did that tbh. this technique is more about focusing on smoothness and control rather than hard flicking yea
Does this work for reflex click type scenarios? I feel like the 100-200ms necessary to react to the next target kinda prevents you from reaping the full benefits of fluidity, but maybe the smoothness still helps this technique outperform the bardoz method?
@@benjaminchen4367 i tried vt 1w1t advanced, my glide speed rn is fast enough to be fluid on this still but i dont think you would be. i also dont think reflex improves static though so i dont think its a problem

shimmy, when should I use my wrist versus using my arm? Gliding with arm then decelerating then incorporating wrist seems best for me but what is your opinion
hey shimmy, thanks for the tutorial. should I try to relearn static with this method? I'm master complete and regular grandmaster and my closest static score to gm is 1 bot off on 1w3ts. Should I try to learn this technique instead of continuing what I know. Thanks, appreciate the help!
So is this advice more for people who want to climb leaderboards in kovaaks or is this more for people who actually want to improve their aim in game? I’ve always heard flicking in game but never heard of gliding in game that’s why I’m a little confused.

What do you think is the best way to practice decelerating before the target? Any specific scens or just get good?
you want to set a point in your head where deceleration starts (eg. the midpoint between your crosshair and current target)
