I was wondering, if I can connect Xbox series X to tv via HDMI (non ARC port) and connect this device to TV via HDMI ARC port. In tv audio settings, set output as HDMI ARC and I can get the 5.1 analogue output from the device.

You can take 5.1 analog audio output by using HDMI ARC of your TV...
You cannot control the volume from your TV
