- Today we install the Milltek Hi-Flow Catted Downpipe on my MK8 GTI!! This is the updated version (No CEL) Hopefully this will help anyone installing the downpipe from home with just jackstands . I DID NOT REMOVE THE FRONT SUBFRAME JUST SLIGHTLY LOWERED IT Please remember to jack up the car/ramps and use jack stands for safety. Please feel free to ask any questions I will try my best to help! Downpipe was ordered from the best over at BMPtuning!

My mk8 gti has the milltek catback, the race version and it is LOUD.

Sounds pretty nice. Also i noticed there is the VAQ slip differential installed and you have the manual GTI. Seems like they added this on the MK8, MK7 only had this on DSG.

Not true. All performance packs and 2019+ came with it regardless of transmission.
For the subframe it was all 18s?

Hi , i live in belgium. Can you give me the part number of your oem downpipe. I will order one from the usa. Its oem downpipe without opf ppf just what i need. I look like stock exhaust. All aftermarket downpipes are made from 304 steel and the Police see the differance.

It’s the Maxton/Milltek kit. Came with the tips for the exhaust and the rear valance

It depends on which downpipe you get. I rather the catted downpipe since you don’t have to worry about emissions and the smell.
