Great job and thanks for the info about the proper way to deploy the Anchor using the Anchor Wizard. I have a 106 MK and use 2 Anchor Wizards to control a double power pole setup on the stern of my kayak. I think the Anchor Wizard is one of the best mods ever.
Funny that Bonafide chose to go with two Anchor Wizards on the RVR. That's exactly what I went with on my P127. Seemed that I spent ample time, adjusting my anchor trolley in changing winds. I decided to do away with the single point anchoring. Now, I go to a spot, anchor down with both, and I'm good to go, even if the wind changes on me. Next move will he to switch to these anchors. I was using a dumbbell, and got it wedged in current. Had to cut it loose. No fun.
Could you please spell the name of that anchor bullet? I'm not in the US and I have a hard time finding it. I really enjoyed the series on the RVR119, very inspiring and very pedagogical. 👍 Thanks a bunch again.
The Anchor Wizard handles look very close to the seat. How is this working in practice? If I were to get this boat, I’m certainly wanting dual Anchor Wizards.
I was concerned that it would be a “knuckle buster”, but it actually works because the amount of force you need to turn the handle seems less as it’s close to your center of gravity and leverage.
@@TheLittleStuff thanks. I think this boat will cover all the bases in what I want in a fishing kayak. I’m a little concerned on how efficient the paddling / hull speed will be on flat water, and if I will be able to stand and fish out of it. I have a Crescent Lite Tackle and really like how it handles and gets up to speed with ease. I can stand up in it, but I’m just not comfortable fishing while standing in it. Thanks for this great series on the RVR 119.
I have lost countless mushroom anchors. I keep a knife on my PFD. Cut it loose if you’re stuck and in danger. I’ve never lost an Anchor Wizard Anchor - the 🍀 shaped one. Great design.
The grapple anchors are horrible. They clang on rocks, spooking fish and get stuck all the time. The Anchor Wizard one rarely gets stuck, and has a plastic coating that lets you lower the anchor onto a hard bottom quietly, not spooking fish.
also is there a method on how to best anchor using 2 ? do u drop both at same time or is there a trick ? like dropping one paddling a bit and then dropping other ? thanks

That particular anchor is good at not getting stuck. It’s good to have a spare, just in case.
Love the paracord running through the hull. That is freaking awesome!
It made things clean.

The anchor is made by Anchor Wizard.
@@TheLittleStuff thanks !

Ever have an anchor get stuck and not able to lift with wizard ?

Sweet , does this boat accept paddle drive?
Nope
Try turning the handle can't turn it
I did. I do. My hands aren’t at all tiny either. Is it a tight fit? Yep. But it does work.
Great video! Have you ever had trouble losing your anchor when attached to a carabiner? I have lost some with larger mushroom anchors.
I have not.
Nice thinking of doing this on my ss127, have u tried grapnel anchors ? Which would u recommend ?

@@TheLittleStuff nice so u use 2 of the anchor wizard anchors 6lbs ?

Great video. I’ve been thinking about dual anchor wizards. Where can I get the little stuff kayak cushions?
I only got a few made for my kayaks.
@@TheLittleStuff I like those. I have lower back trouble so that would be nice too have
So I'm a lefty. Is there a spot on the right side to put the torqeedo throttle and not have it interfere the anchor wizard on that side?
You would just move the Anchor Wizard to the mounting spot back a little.
