Another great watch Tom, well done mate. Nice to see you with a couple of carp, especially as you haven't had the opportunity to get out for a night in a while. 👌
Cheers Darren, yeah it was really nice to have the time to eat out for more than just a few hours mate. Really enjoyed it 👌 can’t wait to do another night again now 😂
Cheers Steve. Mate they are awesome. Had a few short sessions in the past few weeks and it’s amazing how much better my results have been. I love mine 👌 highly recommended 👍
Good watch Tom just got my baiting pole 👍🏻 rig wise I hear wot ya saying about the Ronnie rig But are u not worried that the suppleness of your rig dropping it from spoon will just land in a heap think for me I’d prefer something that pushes away from lead tight lines mate 👍🏻
No that doesn’t worry me at all mate. I hold the rod in my other hand and feel it down on a straight line. There’s slight swing back when dropping on a straight line and that’s no different to a cast. I’m happy to cast a subtle rig, so I’m happy to drop one with a pole also. I did think the same as you initially, but through using it I found out that it works and I’ve built up confidence in it.
@@ScaleyJournal i can back your word on this 100%. Only just came across your vid and stayed in a lodge on bridge pond. Was using a pole and loosing the clutch and after a few days was getting bad line twists on both rods. Needless to say bail arm open is the way 👍
really enjoyed that video and the care you show to the sport, top tips to boot. Thanks fella
Great footage yet again Tom. Well explained and some nice fish. Well done 🎣
Thanks Lloyd 👍
One of the best quality TH-cam blogs around in my opinion… tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Cheers mate, really appreciate the kind words 😊👍
Really lovely video, I'm just getting back into it after 11 years or so. Take care mate. Cheers

Another excellent video. Keeps things simple 👍
Cheers mate! Yeah it’s so easy to over complicate things. Keeping things simple has always worked for me 👍

Little tip mate put the pole into sections of 4 before you ship out its a lot lot quicker and easier
Good work Tom..

Great video mate, what peg is that?
Cheers, it’s peg 12 mate 👍
@@ScaleyJournal fishing there in a few weeks mate on 10 and 11
How many meter are you using on the pole mate ? 🎣
Bail arm open? or closed with loose clutch when shipping it out
Open mate, I wouldn’t keep it closed with the clutch loose because that’s going to cause a huge issue with line twist.
