The most beautiful music ever composed for film.

This wonderful music takes me back to when I was nine years of age, in 1941 in the film 'Dangerous Monlight' I was with my grandmother in the 'Mayfair Cinama' in Huyton, Merseyside.

I agree with Mr. Barr's comments below! I would also like to point out that the famous television mini-series of the early 1980's, "The Winds Of War", theme song bears a huge resemblance to "Warsaw Concerto" in that its music draws you into the almost hypnotic allure and romantic tragedy of WWII (if I may word it that way). The music of this famous mini-series is renown and beloved, much like "Warsaw Concerto" and the music of "Dangerous Moonlight". Thanks for posting this!

There was so much to discover about this wonderful film and beautiful music on this evening at Benslow Music. The film captures this.

I remember this film, I was taken by an Aunt & Uncle in the 1940's-, the music has haunted me ever since.

They were thinking of using Rachmaninoff Second for the movie but due the many political complications in the war years they asked Richard Addinsel to work on a shorter movie length concerto in the style of Rachmaninoff.
