Love you Matt. I feel so honored. One of my favs. Btw, I'm an old drummer and this type of music really floats my boat. Again thanks and much love and respect from Texas.

I met Art Blakey in Madrid in 1976 or 1977. My husband and I used to go every week to a jazz club. He was in a European tour and played in this club as a guest. Him and the whole jazz group ended in my house at 4:00 AM to eat ribs, potato salad and macaroni and cheese ( left overs). It was one unforgettable night.
@@mattcriscuolo1541 Thank you so much. The best Spanish saxophonist was Pedro Iturralde, a good friend of us. Unfortunately, they are no longer with us.
Together, let's try to make the world a better place one reaction at a time. Lots of people watch my videos, hopefully it brought a smile to your face, so let's try to bring more smiles to people's faces together. Plus together we can promote these great artists and expose them to lots of people. A little support from you goes a long way because it helps to not only inspire me but also to cover my expenses so I can keep making these videos. You can make a big difference for as little as the cost of a cup of coffee. It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice :-) bit.ly/3wo0V1K
Since you are obviously into jazz, do you also dig fusion? If so there is a somewhat obscure fusion band called Brand X you should try. They sound influenced by Weather Report and Mahavishnu Orch with outstanding guitarists and stellar drummer, but sadly no sax. You may recognize the drummers name.
I heart you big time)) Stay tuned for more!! Thanks for viewing)) “I would like to start doing some live interviews of up-and-coming artists to highlight them and give them some exposure. Can you make any suggestions? Please email info@mattcriscuolo.com Thank you!”
