  • Viewers told us we needed to see The Warning all grown up now that we have watched their initial viral video of the "Enter Sandman" cover. This is more of a reimagining of the song, and these ladies have certainly grown up!
Video used in this reaction: • The Warning - ENTER SA...

Any song from the Teatro Metropolitan concert is good. Enter Sandman is the only cover they do. Everything else is original and they don't have a bad song.

Hi Guys. Thanks so much for reacting to these special ladies again. When you say world class, you are not kidding. They are not just amazing musicians, but they are truly amazing song writers too. They have around 50 original tracks to this date wit more on the way. If you are a fan of Rock music, then these ladies pretty much cover all bases of the genre. Their fanbase has a wide age range as I think their music for (some of us older ones) has a nostaligic feel to it, but also has a freshness to it too. That may sound contrary, but as you venture further down the rabbit hole, you'll get what I mean. I'm sure the Warning Army will show up again and give support, and plenty of recommendations. I think pretty much any track from this concert is a must.
Paulina (Pau) the drummer is an amazing vocalist too, with unbelievable breath control. So much that sometimes is difficult to believe she is actually singing live. She once explained that she practice by singing whilst running on a treadmill. 😮 Dust to Dust, or 23 from this concert will demonstrate.
Best of all is that they are all humble, sweet, respectful, down to earth girls too. That only adds to their appeal.🥰

Pau (pronounced POW!) is their primary songwriter, and together with her sisters they've crafted dozens of gems. From hard rockers like Evolve, Disciple, and Animosity - to more heart-felt numbers like Revenant, 23, or Amour - everything they puit out is gold. This show at the Metropolitan Theater is the best place to see/hear them, but they've been recording and releasing their shows since they started.

The guitar that Dany is playing was gifted to her during The Warning's set by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Dany was also gifted a guitar from Matt Bellamy of Muse after touring with them. In 2024 The Warning will be playing at Wacken.

DPA/TW and Alessia Cara certainly understood the assignment!
Alessia Cara is a Grammy winning Canadian Pop and R&B singer... they had 10 days to rip this rendition of *Enter Sandman* from the ether and make it a darker, more eerie, and a more haunting lullaby than the original metal version... this was done because they, and many other artists from numerous genres, were invited by Metallica to take one of the songs from the original "Black" album, keep the lyrics and change it up how ever you like... play it backwards, upside down, whatever... this was all for the 30th anniversary of the "Black" album... all the submissions from 50someodd artists were put on the 2021 "The Metallica Blacklist" album... the proceeds from the album sales are split 50/50 with half going to Metallica's "All Within My Hands Foundation" and the other half being donated to a charity of the participating artists' choice.
the version they play in concert has Dany doing the vocals with a backing track of Alessia's ohhhs and ahhhs... of course Ale and Pau join in with their angelic harmonies... it is a fantastic reimagining of the iconic original... this 60+ year old rocker loves both versions of *Enter Sandman* but this one by TW and Alessia gets more airtime these days 😹

Truly NOT a cover. Wonderful stuff!

World Class indeed. And being there live in the theater with them is an experience. They put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. So much energy. Yes, go see them in concert. You will not be disappointed.
If you want more, pick just about anything from this Teatro concert (Disciple, Choke, Dust to Dust, Animosity, they are all good). Or check out either of the performances from the MTV VMAs.
I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Dany very sweetly puts you to bed, then rouses the troops, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the Sandman tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time. I love this one.

@CoachCastTV Especially when they were in Mexico and Alessia Cara was in Canada due to Covid restrictions. The collaboration was all through Skype I believe. *Fun Facts:*
The following songs Pau (drummer) sings lead (studio / live):
    *On keyboards:*
    Escape the Mind (solo)
    Black Holes
    Show Me the Light
    Breathe (solo)
    *Just singing:*
    Revenant
    *Playing the drums:*
    Fade Away
    Dust to Dust
The End (Stars Always Seems to Fade)
    23
    *Duet with Dany:*
    Survive
    Sinister Smiles
    Disciple
    *On piano (solo cover):*
    Creep (Radiohead cover)
Pau does a lot of backup with her sister Ale (bass). Ale has sung lead on live songs when Dany is ill. They are ......
    River's Soul
    Red Hands Never Fade
    Hunter
But Dany is indeed the Lead singer in this band. And she earn that title. Even though, in my opinion, Pau is a better singer for Hard Rock. She's the Phil Collins of drummers. How do you get her away from the drum kit us an easy question. The answer is a couple of hundred million pesos answer.

When Metallica was planning their "Blacklist" album, it was to be made up of other artists covering Metallica songs. They invited a number of people to create their own versions of the songs. They had seen the videos of The Warning doing covers of Enter Sandman. They invited them to make a version with their own twist to it for the Blacklist album. Time was sort. The ladies re-arranged the song, recorded it with a singer who was in a different country, and had the final mix in Metallica's hands all within one week. It's the opening song on the album. This is their live version of that new version, minus the other singer.

A little info about the girls…
They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started.
The band just celebrated their 10th year anniversary.
    - 👩🏼 Daniela (Dany) Guitar and lead vocals.
    She is 23 years old.
She plays piano and saxophone 🎷.
    She is sponsored by PRS.
    She loves donuts 🍩.
Her main hobby is diamond painting 🖼️.
She just started a collection of pictures of herself next to fire extinguishers🧯 from all over the world.
She is a sweetheart, very loving girl and disciplined.
She has the best voice for rock music in the industry today. Only Lzzy Hale can compete with Dany.
On tour she always has to have fresh fruit. 🍉 🍎 🍊
    - 🧑🏻‍🦰 Paulina (Pau) Drums and vocals.
    She is 21 years old.
    She is sponsored by Sabian.
    She plays piano. 🎹
    She collects Anime and Vinyls.
She writes almost all the lyrics for the band.
She is a genius firecracker 🧨
She is an amazing drummer and she can sing while she plays, very difficult thing to do.
She has a tremendous voice that transmits a lot of emotion.
She is the lead singer in many of their songs.
NEVER tell her in the “meet and greets” that she is short person, she’ll get mad.
She is going to make you cry when she sings the song “black holes”. Prepare the tissues 😢.
    - 👧🏻 Alejandra (Ale) Bass and Vocals.
    She is sponsored by Spector.
    She plays piano 🎹.
This girl is the youngest (18) but she is the tallest.
Ale is a tremendous bass player, she is a clean, clear and consistent player.
She sings well but she doesn’t like to sing.
    She prefers the backing vocals.
    She loves Takis chips (fire).
NEVER put pineapple in her pizza 🍕, she will get mad.
She is very reserved, but very smart!.
When things are going out of control in the band, she is the voice of reason.
She has super strength powers, she can break an apple with her little bare hands 🍏💪🏻.

Great reaction guys. I'm sure by now, plenty of recommendations are in the comments here so I'll just say that TW has plenty of footage of concerts going back to 2015 to present. There's the Liceo de Monterrey, Dakota Bar concert, Lunario CDMX and the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX to name the most popular ones IMHO. Since that early video of Enter Sandman.... 1 EP, 3 LP's, & recording their 4th Lp now. You can say they have matured a bit, but this concert you just watched they was still younger than most. Dany 22, Pau 20, and Ale only 17 here. Right now Dany is the oldest at 23, and they all have 10 years of hard earned experience on stages around the world and shared stages with some of the worlds top artists. This year alone, they played North America, South America, Most of Europe & France. This concert was shot in Aug 2022, they did around 100 shows that year, and most of them was in the States, coast to coast. They was just here in May & August '22, where I caught them a couple of more times. Live is their super power, and you really deserve to treat yourself to see them when you can. They have a traveling fan base like the Grateful Dead had. If you get to a show, Don't be surprised if one of us come up to shake your hands, and take you in like Family. TWA is just that. A little more info for you. “The Warning” are from Monterrey, Mexico, a power trio of sisters - Daniela "Dany“ (vocals, guitars, piano), Paulina "Pau" (drums, vocals, piano) and Alejandra "Ale" Villarreal (bass, piano, backing vocals) They are a great live band that has opened for Muse, Halestorm, Guns and Roses, and The Foo Fighters and others. The Warning also worked with Alessia Cara on this song "Enter Sandman" for the Blacklist album; Metallica made it the #1 song on the album. They have a great music video for this song. They performed on the 2023 VMA Extended Stage. They have toured Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and Europe. They will be playing Shiprocked and Wacken Open Air in 2024. Great reaction! Subbed for more The Warning. Anything live from Teatro Metropolitan, or watch their two appearances from the MTV VMAs of Evolve and More. They don't have a bad song and this rabbit hole is DEEP. Oh, and their version of Enter Sandman, which was by request from Metallica for their Blacklist album, is a masterpiece!

In fact out of thd hours of videos ive watched ive heard the f bomb twice . . One was from a person back stage . . . But never writen into thier songs. . Pau did let one fly during a song and the look on Ale's face was priceless . . . Great reaction team . ❤

They corrected the original by placing that iconic riff in the most appropriate place.
    DPA...
They have a formidable innate talent, each one of them. Innate but with practice taken to the sublime.
Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience on their path in addition to their great preparation since they were children.
Their attitude, discipline and will to achieve their goals are leading them to great, well-deserved achievements.
    Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra…
They are still on the road to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think it will be inevitable.
Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.”
I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light…
And not only in the technical aspect, but we have also already proven that they have an exquisite taste for good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative.
Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and fraternal team totally committed to their project…
And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings.
Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value Dany, Pau and Ale, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented girls who make good songs…
No, it's about music, really art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds.
The beauty of their art lies in its simplicity.
Each of these amazing rock masterpieces must be appreciated in all its dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop.
They are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success.
As long as all this continues to flow with this equation they will soon reach the top of the world where they deserve to be.
We're always looking for more from our favorite band of all time.
Thanks and regards from México!! 🇲🇽

I have to add one thing to ianelliott's comment below. The Warning are just as importantly world class people. I won't explain that statement. The info about them and their journey from small kids to young women is all out there on youtube. A lot of the fun is getting to know them as people. So I won't spoil it for anyone. But its well worth finding out about them. ANd if I was a father with young girls they are who I would want as their role models. I will say that I think they are the most inspiring musicians I have ever seen in 68 years of watching rock music.Because of who they are.

First: if that is an FSU Seminole cap, the Noles got cheated by the NCAA. I'll leave it at that. 😡. The NCAA does a lot of infuriating things. Heaven forbid someone has fun celebrating in the end zone! Surprised the Canes aren't penalized for wearing the Turnover chain. Anyway, my suggestion is to watch the Teatro Metroplitan full concert, song by song instead piecing it together randomly. That way you get the flow and feel of the concert and you will eventually cover all the suggestions coming your way.

Then watch Evolve from the MTV awards from a couple months ago. Then watch the music video for 21st Century Blood. Then watch Narcisista live from Monterrey Vivo en Foro. Then watch Choke from the Teatro Metropolitan concert. Then watch the music video for Martirio. Then watch Animosity either live or music video. Then watch More at MTV awards. Then watch Dull Knives. Then Z. Then Runaway. Then Error. Then Copper Bullets. Then Queen Of The Murder Scene. Then When I'm Alone. Then Red Hands Never Fade. Then Money. Then the rest.

The story I heard...maybe some errors. Others will correct me.
They mostly opened for other acts for years and played festivals mostly in Mexico. They've opened for many famous bands.
There was some US tour planned that covid screwed up.
They were scene by Halestorm at some festival. Halestorm was shook and took them on a US & Canada tour 2022 as an opening act and TW headlined some of their own shows also during that time.
Then in January 2023. Complete insane madness!!! They love Muse. They were able to open for their idols in Mexico. Muse, like Halestorm, was shaken. Muse invited them to open some shows in Europe. TW toured the US a bit and then went to Europe for about a month. Their shows in Spain sold out in hours.
They have announced a return to Europe in April 2024. This time only headliners. 19 shows. Over 50% of the tickers sold in less than 48hours.

@@CoachCastTV maybe so, but honestly, it’s like comparing the Beatles with the spice girls. Vixen’s music is the typical 80’s glam metal bubblegum disposable music (no offense if you’re fans), while the warning’s music is way more complex and interesting. Also, the warning actually composes their own music, while vixen rarely did, as most of their hits were written for them. The only commonality I could think of is that they’re both all female bands, but that’s about it.

    • @CoachCastTV
      @CoachCastTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@madmex123 We respect varying opinions, of course. We don't agree with Vixen being disposable music, as it was (and is) great to our ears. We appreciate that everyone has diverse tastes and opinions and that is what makes the world a great place. If everyone agreed all the time, especially on art (including music) it would sure be a boring world.

@@CoachCastTVyou’re absolutely right, although you sort of formed an opinion after a single listen. This happens to be the only cover they’ve done in years and this is so because they were invited to collaborate with Alesia Cara for Metallica’s black list album. Try some of their original music. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
