The wonderful Pernell Roberts. Isn't it incredible, he's been dead for 14 years and women still love him. He was an incredibly handsome, masculine guy with a great baritone voice. I still listen to his songs.
Richard Thornton wrote in 2018 that Pernell Roberts never portrayed a native American Indian, ( Quote- He never accepted a role playing a native American Indian, but also never accepted a role in a TV program or movie, which portrayed native American negatively (unquote). Now even though he didn't accept one negatively he did accept the role of an Indian, this is what Mr. Thornton wrote in a biography on Pernell Roberts, but from what I have seen, on the television show entitled Shirley Temple 's Storybook, Pernell did portray a native American known by the name of Pau- Puk- Keewis on that show, it was in the year of 1958 before his portrayal of Adam Cartwright on Bonanza, plus he played other Characters on Shirley Temples's show as well, I believe he probably portrayed 3 different characters on the show, maybe 2 but he most definitely did portray a native American Indian, probably only once, never saw him portray another one after that one character. You can Google it and it most definitely will show you that it's Pernell, plus the credits will tell you also if you asked. He passed away 14 years ago yesterday, January 24, 2010 . Rest in peace Pernell Roberts
You forgot Pernell's character in The Odd Couple. He played someone that Oscar owed $500 in a poker game to be paid within 24 hours. Eventually, Oscar got Felix and his band to play music at a square dance in order to pay off the debt.
I really don't think that's Pernell Roberts in the Rifleman clip. That episode is from early 1963, when Pernell was a main character in Bonanza. Wouldn't he have been too busy to appear in The Rifleman as a character with only one line?
You right. That's not him. It's actor Dale Wright. As far as starring in 2 different shows at the same time I can name 2. Robert Reed was doing the Brady Bunch and Mannix at the same time. Pamela Anderson was doing Home Improvement and Baywatch at the same time. Idk any actors doing it today nowadays
OMG. I'm 17 years old, and I feel grateful to have met this beautiful man. Without a doubt a gentleman. It is very sad that I can no longer know him, but Pernell Roberts will always have a place in my heart Where can I find the complete tapes, of each clip? 🩷. In all of them he looked beautiful, but in Bonanza uffff, Adam is the best 🥹🩷

I have truly enjoyed watching these magnificent clips of this beautiful man. He has charmed his way to many a heart. Loving him still.
He really brought a mystery and charm to all characters he played. Definitely one of my new favorite actors - he was so good in everything he did.
Love these clips of a few of Pernell’s roles. He had a smooth and velvety voice!😊❤
