Thanks Scott. In a mellow mood, sort of worked. It got chopped in end but since my stuff is done in one take I cannot fix it. Gave up the Jupiter X and went back to the Kronos (II) and sold my 7th Minikorg and aequired a Hydrasynth. I though Korg was going to reissue the minikorg but still waiting. I will see if I can come up with something soon, but surely for early 2022. Enjoying retirement and moving a bit slower but still go for it once in awhile. Wish I had your technical skills, still using iMovie.....go figure ({-;)
There is power in tranquillity - what a wonderful soundtrack for the beginning of the year. I guess we're both at an age where you don't have to dance to every tune. You know how to let melodies rise gently (Wavestate!!) and weave on, from instrument to instrument. You take your time. And you have an excellent sound system. I'm curious to see what's to come. Happy New Year, belatedly....
Happy New Year to you too, Sir! You have to know it was your Jupiter XM demos and improvs that convinced me to purchase the Jupiter X. While I dislike the interface, the sounds are something special. Regarding the Wavestate, my first impression was that it was sort of a gimmick machine but the more I play it the more I appreciate the technology and clarity of tone. Kudos to Korg for that one, it is a keeper. I tried to exercise my whole rig in this one but ignored the Deepmind 12 rack unit, will get to it next time. Just noodling in the night, 2-3AM on New Years day (could not sleep for some reason, maybe this was the reason??) Let's play on in 2021 and beyond Looking forward to your new postings. ({-;).
@@Sam_Utah That sounds good! Great that you bought new keyboards after inspiration via TH-cam! I don't know Kudos - is that an amp or effects unit? I still think the Wavestate sounds great - soon there will be an extended version with 61 keys, the Wavestate SE, but I'll have to wait until then. Yesterday I tried the Korg Naulilus - a few nice new combinations, but otherwise you really miss the "real" KRONOS! Keep going, keep the nights going, your music is worth it! I wish you lots of surprises in 2021 🙂
@@Grubenpony12 Kudos is an American expression of praise and honor, originally a greek word adapted to American English. Just giving Korg a compliment, it is not a brand or product. I do regret giving up my old Kronos for the Jupiter, wish I could have kept both but I have found myself playing the Montage more than the Kronos so I let it go. The Nautilus is appealing but lacks aftertouch, which I do not understand in a premium synth. Wavestate SE is tempting but I do not have space for it unless I reorganize my rig. I am tempted to upgrade my Minikorg 700s to the new version when Korg releases it, the additional features make it really interesting - arpeggiator, spring reverb, patch memory....a winning combination for us Minikorg fans.
Yes, I will sub your channel. I am working on more rhythm based work, have a few - also influenced by T-Dream, Floyd and the like but more so Vangelis, Kitaro and Jarre. Unschooled and self learner with long way to go. Fun hobby we have.
@@KyleWhitlock-Music sorry, I had replied days ago but do not see it here, probably forget to hit a button. I am on the Left Coast California, Santa Cruz hills. Been here since 2003, Born in San Francisco .... the Sam Utah thing is from my first album of improvs that I was going to call "samuta" music after the addicting music found in Frank Herbert's Dune series but figured no one would get the in-joke and added an "h" and named it Sam Utah and it stuck. Had an internet station for 10 yrs with a full day of improvs for background but Live365 went under and retired. They have since been revived. Real name is Stephen Kennedy....a computer nerd from way back.
Lovely. Enjoyed this very much Sam

@@Sam_Utah Thank you very much. Learned something again. Let's see what the future has in store for us...
Fantastic
Thanks for the listen, Gabriel, could not sleep, might as well play a bit. Did it in iMovie, not the best video tech but it is what I have....({-;)
Very nice Sam! Thanks for checking out my YT site
