- This was right after The War Report had dropped. Noreaga explains how he got his rap name and why LeFrak City, Queens was called Iraq. They also explain the reason they made "LA, LA" in response to Tha Dogg Pound's "New York, New York." They say it was only an answer record in the spirit of hip-hop and it was blown out of proportion and wasn't a diss record. Tradgedy Khadafi also talks about his absence from the rap game and why he really hadn't changed like some people thought.
I love how rugged the 90s feel is
Damn...watching this brings back so much memories from that time. I was 20. Makes me want to shed a tear. Time flies man.
Diggum Smack77 YEAH ME TOO BRO. SMH. I WISH THE RAP GAME WAS LIKE THIS TODAY. SHIT WAS SO GOOD BACK THEN WITH HIP HOP. THIS WAS BET WAS THE SHIT.
Exactly!
True man. But we still here!
No doubt!
20 right now whole different generation hoping I can keep this real alive
The progression of NORE is simply amazing. Anything is possible with determination and perseverance...

@@PublicEnemy-je8kh 😂😂😂
He was fresh off the streets & didn't like cameras back then
Man Nore was so laid back his personality is bubbly af now but you can tell on his first album he showed personality on there.
He’s benevolent now. He matured as a Father and grew as a man. Good on him.
That's actually Tragedy Khadafi. He used to go by Intelligent Hoodlum back in the day. He's been around since before Nas and Mobb Deep and them.
Chris Jones juice crew days
You obviously can't read... Check
the headline to this video.....
Salute to these cats. Nore came a long way since then, 21 years later, now Nore the one conducting interviews....damn time flies!
Tragedy is one of the ills rapper ever

These were the good ole days right here...1997... taking trips to NY, bumpin that War Report on I-95 dirty...
watched this, then listened to the Combat Jack interview with Nore, amazing how this relationship broke down. According to NORE he had his own vision for his style and Tragedy wanted him to be more like him (hardcore). I liked the war report better than whatever nore put out later but I am sure his later stuff sold more.
that's Les huh I remeber her on the Lost Boys album wow niice. thx for the upload God
Nubian Emporer was just aboht to comment this. Her voice sounded familiar
Nore when he was mad skinny
He had no money to buy food in Lefrak brack then.
Diss & Dad the struggle is real
He was never really skinny. He just wasn't that chubby
And Cam was a lil chubby nd more hyper
Nore seemed mad humble back then
thought i was the only who figured that
Not to be fucked with
Son was a savage back then. He’s humble now but he grew up and is in a great place.
This is a real solid interview here. Nore history boy. These dudes had knowledge
Crazy that trag and nore always going at each other's head till this day

Nore need to get Big Lez on Drink Champs
which Studio is this.
When exactly did Tradgedy and NORE fall out?... I remember supporting both of em back in the 90's and it just caught me completely off guard when they were cool at one moment and then they were throwing jabs at each other on the records... Are they cool now? niggas need to do a drink champs episode with Tradgedy, Capone and Nore... And just break everything down during that time period which was 20 years ago now.
yea they def cool now they was all on dj vlad but yea same here idk how fast they fell out lol
Probably didn't even have beef, just trying to stay relevant. Can't trust these rap beefs
After the war report nore really had his own vision for what he wanted to accomplish next and it was down the commercial route. Tragedy wasn’t feeling that and felt like nore was branching out of the hardcore street umbrella ☔️. Honestly I agree with tragedy because alll of Noreagas street records are so classic compared to most of his commercial sounding music. Notice how n.o.r.e. Album (1998) had some records that were still hardcore as hell ( it’s not a game , da story , body in the trunk) then you have hot records but they we’re definitely more after a radio friendly sound ( I love my life , the way we live , mathematics, fiesta ) Noreaga first solo album was very much a perfect melting pot of both sounds but after 1998 nore almost completely lost is underground street sound that we heard in the war report. Hope this helps!
Yo this nihg prodigy got the small hat brim! Tight ass hat.
Young antisocial NORE didn’t even answer her question. He just said Capone came home and got that name. Hilarious.
😂
😂😂😂
i fux wit tragedy
Damn, Nore was skinnyy as fuckk back when !!
Puppet Master by DJ Muggs with B-Real & Dr.Dre.

T.O.N.Y.
nore personality during this interview is sorta like mine
***** ig u have a thing for humble shy cats
noreaga personality changed imo now he talking alot on interviews lol
Big Lez was so fine

Tragedy made a reference to Big Lez’s breast, on a song called QB 2000 that came out in 1998, featuring Imam thug
