Every time I think I'm out... The box was made for me. They had me at the journal but the calligraphy set... Who's that beside me? It's me. I'm beside myself!
I managed to get the Raven in 8x8 from an UK stockist, but they'd sold out of the box so I told myself that it was ok the box was a lot of money to just want the notebook. Fast forward till about half an hour ago, my husband said there's a parcel coming from the states - he's only bought me the Halloween box as he said the journal inside was perfectly me with very dracula vibes. i'm lucky enough to live near whitby and grew up with Dracula being read to me as a small child. I aren't ashamed to admit I burst into tears.

Ahhh! I see Archer and Olive went scrolling on the goth sites for their inspo this year. There is a small artist, Lapis Lily Market, sold on the Vampire Freaks site, who does these little trinkets called Ghosts on Vacation where she hand paints little cute ghosts like that in front of famous locations. And she puts them in tiny ornate frames like that also. I immediately thought of her when I saw that ghost in the frame decoration.

My gamertag has ‘boo’ in the name so the ghost notebook will be my gaming journal 😄 And that box will be mine! The red moon is sooooo gorgeous and I love everything in the box! This is the first time I’m buying from their Halloween collection. My birthday is Halloween and I’m kinda picky lol
The Halloween release is always my favorite as well. I want all the black/dark notebooks with cool designs all the time! I'm so excited that we're getting some squares this Halloween! I hope that continues. I'm psyched for the box as well. I use my notebooks as story bibles and progress trackers for my novel. I'm currently working on an urban fantasy and the spooky vibes will go perfectly with that. And I think the raven will make a perfect reading journal for 2025.
I managed to get the box and I have a potential bonus coming next week and if that happens, I'll be picking up a couple sizes of the Raven & Books as well as catching up on digital stickers and tabs.

(Now I need to find a fun Dracula/vampire game to journal in that one 🤭!) Do I need more notebooks- no, did I buy more notebooks-yes. I overslept my alarm by like an hour and completely missed out on the collage stickers though 😭😭😭 which was the #1 thing on my list though 😕. Really hope they bring them back at some point
I'm way over budget for stationery this month but I love their Halloween boxes! I use my glass pen so much. At least I resisted from getting extra bujos. *me looking at my lifetime supplies of notebooks.
Has anyone been able to load the nib to the holder? It doesn't seem that hard and I looked at several TH-cam videos on how to do it, but mine doesn't seem to load. The nib doesn't seem to go in easily and I am wondering if I have a defective. Also, the tip of one of the nibs seems to be bent. Is this normal? Sorry, I have never used these--I use the other kind of fountain pens.
Since I just bought the subscription box and some other things from the sale I said to myself I wasn’t going to buy any Halloween stuff. Then I saw the box. Then my son saw the glow in the dark things in the box. So now the box and the cute ghost stickers and washi are on their way as well. 👻😂 Now I have three packages from A&O in transit to Sweden (since the sub box and the other things come from different warehouses). Oops! 😅
I was so going to stick to my savings goal this month, but noooo! A&O had to pull me in with that collection. Got the box, two notebooks and the raven washi for the colours alone. Sigh... 😂
The only thing I am disappointed about is the calligraphy ink is that they are not the same style as the previous 2 sets. :( I wonder if they are smaller or bigger than the other sets?

But after watching your video about the calligraphy set from this year's Halloween box I understand that may be on purpose since you can't use calligraphy ink in fountain pens (if I recall that correctly). It will help me to remember they are different.
