I can’t believe the year and my weather stitch is winding down. I’ve kept up with this one each week and I love it. Can’t wait to start the turtles! Happy stitching🪡
So pleased your advent animals are nearly finished! My little girl has taken on the job of turning ours over each day. I hope you're finding some time to stitch this week, it really is so busy at this time of year x
My daughter also loves to flip over the advent animals each day. She's usually up and downstairs before I am in the morning, so she likes to beat me to it! :D
When I started to stitch December on my Quaker Temperature I was seriously so amazed that is was already December! I feel like 2023 just flew by. Dragon ride looks so amazing. I would hang it in the hall outside his bedroom so I could look at it all the time! 🤣😂
Yeah, I'll have to figure out a nice place to hang it. I already have Seaside Kingdom by Mirabilia hanging on the wall outside the kid's rooms, so that's always a joy to see regularly, too. :)
Always lovely to visit with you! I hope you enjoyed your visit with your parents. I remember in 1992 when my parents got a brand new car that had a cd player (!!!) - we put on the Mannheim Steamrollers and went around and looked at Christmas lights. It’s a wonderful memory!
You actually got a lot more done than I thought you would 😄 The run up to Christmas can be filled with so much stuff and that is not even the end of the month 😂 Happy stitching 🪡🧵🎄
I hate to say this Sarah, but after I finished my advent animals and put together the wall hanging, I have lost a lot of my desire for stitching! I have tried different things and I just can’t seem to shift it into gear! I guess I worked so long on those and put so much thought into how to finish the project it ashes my stitching desire out. I have had a lot going on the past few weeks so I’m hoping after the first of the year the “desire”will return. Your project looks great! I laughed at your husband’s comment about the numbers, oh well, too late to change now! Take care.❤🎄
Oh, that's too bad! Hopefully you can take some time now to enjoy other hobbies for a bit - coloring, diamond painting, baking, puzzling, etc. Then, yes, when the New Year hits there is often a lot of hype over new starts and new rotations and new plans, so hopefully that will spark some desire to put needle to thread again!
I'm so impressed by all of the finishes of those Advent Animals throughout the year. It would have been so easy to get distracted from them, but you have held true! Thanks for the video, as always.
I love your Advent Animals. The stand that you have put them on is so nice. I wish that they still made them. I am wanting to do these also, but I think I'm going to cross stitch them all together. But yours looks, nicer. I enjoy watching you every week. The nativity scene is very beautiful. You've made the stitches so lovely. I haven't ever done specialty stitches. Have a great week. See you soon.
Normaly Hardanger is made with perl 8 and 5 , and colour b5200 , white is absolutte the most used, looking forward to see that 🌹🙏💞 i made a pillowcase once with other colours but i feel like IT should be a white colour range. I've said it before - Dragon Ride is awesome! I know that your son will be very proud of it. I saw the Mannheim Steamroller holiday concert several years ago and it was so good! Keep stitching, and look forward to next time.
Your Nativity Sampler is so beautiful! And your Advent Animals display is great! I bet you are really enjoying it! Hope you have a blessed Advent season with your family.
Hi Sarah Love all of your WIPS - you are making great progress on them. Dragon Ride looks so amazingly beautiful. You are getting closer and closer in finishing this one. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵🎄❤️
You can find the conversion in the AuriFloss thread pack listing: www.fatquartershop.com/shine-bright-sampler-aurifil-thread-pack. The third picture shows the original color name, followed by the new AuriFloss number that replaces that original color. I'm not sure, but you might be able to find an AuriFloss to DMC conversion chart online.
Enjoyed your video, beautiful work. Question where do I find the color change for shine on. I love the pinks too. I couldn’t find on their website at fat Quarter Shop. Love Mannheim Steamroller

I love your stand. I got to thinking it might be easy to replicate with a frame glued to a stand and painted. Cute!
