Have one.....love it....was a little concerned at how light it was, at first...but, it gets the job done in fine fashion....and for the money, you really can't go wrong with it.
Great Amp !! I also own the R200 which sounds phenomenal, but my 71 year old back wanted ultra light. Solution: I upgraded the 12" speaker to the outstanding Eminence Basslite S2012. It's all on TalkBass under upgrading the speaker in the Rumble 100. It's now fuller and more capable, and weighs 20.6 lbs.😂
The Rumble 100 can handle quiet drummers. I've used it live with a country band and a blues band with no problem. If your drummer is a big fan of John Bonham then buy the Rumble 500 or 800. The whole range of Fender Rumbles are incredibly light, so they're very easy to travel to gigs with.
Replacing the stock Chinese Eminence with an Eminence S2012 GREATLY enhances the sound of the amp. Put some batting in the cab, and that will help, too.
I LOVE mine! I did the upgrades recommended on TalkBass. Lined and braced the cab, plus swapped in an Eminence Basslite S2012 NeoMag Speaker. My passive Peavey gets plenty loud! No problem versus loud drummer and guitars. 🤘
The batting really helps with the sound, as does the S2012 NEO speaker. I've done the same upgrades to mine. Did you notice the output difference with the S2012? My amp "opened up" (more output) with the higher wattage S2012.
in my opinion the Fender Rumble 200 is the best value in the whole Rumble line. The 15" driver hits hard and can handle a 5-string Low B well without sounding muddy, a compression tweeter that can be turned ON/OFF and the ability to connect an extension cabinet (112, 115, 210).
Yes, I have an Ibanez SR1205, and it handles as well as any big boy amps I've played through. It covers frequency down to 35, which most amps only go down to 40.

Very pleased with mine. I got a big, pleasant surprise when I picked it up.

What a great demo! No bs, just the stuff we need to know. Subscribed
You can max out the master, and set the input gain to taste. You get a better signal to noise ratio this way.
Great amp. I own one and absolutely love it. No more lugging "back-breaking" gear for me. It sounds fantastic too. oNe LovE from NYC

Some batting?
Just got mine from Sweetwater, Great amp.

Not so much higher wattage but Speaker Sensitivity plus increased XMAX opened her up. I'm running an FDeck HPF inline of the Bass and Amp, too.
Nice demo. Great combo for the money.
Great info but that damn obnoxiously loud intro needs to go
I got the rumble 40 for home. Great brand
Fender rumble version 3 is IMO the best class D bass amp on the market. It's the only one that really sounds like a bass amp should.
Very cool, thank you. What bass is being played with the pearloid inlays?😊
Im assuming the bass cuts outbin hwadphone mode right
Thanks for review in Advance
Have one❤️
This was a good video 👍
Very helpful! Would you say it is loud enough for playing with a drummer without pa support?
Hey Brandon. Yes it's defiantly loud enough for practicing with your band. That's mostly how I'm using it!
@@MusicianWaveOfficial Awesome, thanks!
I use mine with my 4 pc. band LIVE, and it definitely does the job.
Could you please tell us how to connect the xlr out to the mixing console? Do we need to turn on the hi z?
Basses should be played and not cleaned, as demonstrated.
why play completely different riffs and dynamics when showing the different voicings
I don't like fret buzz, it's annoying.
Does it keep up with the low frequencies of a 5 string?
It supports low frequencies pretty well but never tried it with a 5th string so not 100% sure tbh

Who cares
can this handle 5 strings Bass?

No one wants to hear a 5 string bass.
@@davidrobertson5881 ok karen!
You know you can actually clean fingerprints off of guitars?
Clean that bass geez
Rattle, rattle, rattle……this is NOT a bassplayer kid.
Could be a bad setup- seems to be too low, as he didn't seem to have the problem in the higher register.
