I made brownies twice in my 50 years of life and they never came out right. I did exactly what this video said to do and OMG I’m like a real life chef 👩🍳 lol so good. Thank you
What a great recipe. I bought two boxes of brownies yesterday and wanted to kick them up a bit. This recipe is just the thing. Great video. You made it look so simple. Thanks
I always whisk my Eggs before adding to Dry. I'd actually add the Vanilla and the Milk to the Eggs and then whisk, that way I don't need to "Over Mix" my batter.
That's how I do it, too. Much better results. Though I am going to follow her less is better approach to baking time because I was getting slightly dried out ones.
@@AM-yi4qb Try using a Thermometer, I shoot for 185F (since I've done it many times now, I know my oven at 350F for 30 minutes gives me the 185F) moist and chewy.
You can also add instant coffee, or any flavored extract. In my dark chocolate brownie mix I put orange extract and a pinch of ground cayenne pepper, ( just a pinch) for a light pop. I've never had a complaint.
I bought the same mix but the recipe on the back is different with the amount of oil the box says 2/3 cup of oil and you said 1/2 cup 2/3 cup seems like way too much oil. Any ideas? Thanks
I bought the same mix and I am confused too but my confusion is about the oil the box I have says 2/3c but she uses 1/2 c I was looking online for ideas to kick up the brownies and found reviews and people are angry and they say Duncan Hines has changed the recipe. They say their brownies were greasy and some were inedible. I am really confused now. Hopefully we can get some help!🙏🏼
I just made some waiting for them to get done baking.. Think I messed up using that much milk.. I made a Betty Crocker brand.. I’ll just have to wait and see😂🤞
The 13x9 family size in Walmart is only 18.3oz..the same as the regular great value size. What the? And they charge more for the "supposedly larger mix . It's a scam. Just use 2 boxes of mix and u end up with mammoth thick brownies that look like bakery quality. Use a brownie hack as well with lots of ads ins.
Listen. If you want cake bake a damn cake. Dont be doctoring up brownie mixes. I worked in a bakery where if the brownies were over mixed to the point of looking like cake the customer we had contracts for wouldn't accept them.

Great video and great information, I must try this
Is there a trick to adding chocolate chips without them settling to the bottom? Toss them with flour? Thanks for the video.😄
You can add some into the mix and top with the rest when it's in the pan
I've added flour ,and they still sit at bottom😩

I doctor up cake mix so I figured I’d try to doctor up brownie mix!
I like your substitutions, I don't add chocolate chunks but I do add Cinnamon and Raisins...=)
how much cinnamon?
@@arialifeless about 1 Table spoon.
that’s really interesting
That's fucked up
How much vanilla do we put
Can walnuts be added to this recipe? Thank You.
Yes. Walnuts work great as do pecan
I bought the same exact brownie mix (exact) and box indicates 1 egg, not 2, now I’m confused. Do i add 3 or add 2 or maybe 1 egg and just 1 yoke?
It depends on the brownie brand box. Some say 1, others say 2. If yours says 1, then add one more.
@@RandyBooth it was the same brand and save exact mix. I’ll add the extra egg to make it 2 like in your video. Thank you

Butter? Salt or unsalted
Subscribed and I hit that like notification button and I look forward to making some of your delicious yum yums, thanks
why do you choose imitation vanilla flavoring over vanilla extract?
Thank you for that

Mine said use less oil but I was watching your vid so that’s what I put in mine!😂
Love this!
Can you add nuts?
yes! even better if you roast them a little before adding them 😋
Yes that’d be delicious!
Whatever u want
please keep posting!
WHAT? Take them out when to toothpick does NOT come out clean?! That’s a revelation that makes perfect sense! P.S. Use espresso powder in the mix.
Add a tablespoonful of cold coffee… mmmm
Coconut oil is. Game changer, js...

Brownies are supposed to be more cake-like. Fudge brownies are ass and should be illegal. You want fudge? Go eat fudge
