You are definitely right. I started my career in Healthcare as an LPN and clinicals for my BSN program were a breeze. I was so comfortable with many things.
Congratulations! May God bless you and your family.
Thank you Sasha! Amen

Yes ! Just brainstorming
how long did you have to work for them, like what is the contract conditions? do you have to stay with them for 3 years or more?
I didn’t have a contract with them per se. But many agencies have a 2 years contract. I work for them for about 2 years It depends on what your contract says. If it’s 3 years you stay 3 years

What’s the company name or the site they sponsor you?

Leave your social media page and you will be fine. I manage nurses. Thats my advise to you.
I don’t use my legal name nor disclose my employer name on social media.
I’m so sorry but the DNP to me seems like a waste and I would never go for that degree . I feel like they just made it up. Not to sound mean or discredit your hard work I know it wasn’t easy. It only means something in research or academia /teaching. I am a RN making 100K and doing Botox on the side in Atlanta and I am in NP school but I’m just doing it to open my own beauty studio so work for myself . Healthcare is absolutely going to 💩 and there are no jobs or they are limited and becoming more competitive . I would not recommend linked in there are way too many applicants . Your better off going to company website directly or networking in the industry . You have to stand out from the others . I literally had a NP job offer before I graduate because I physically visited a clinic looking for a preceptor and they thought I was there for a job . So put yourself out there before you spend more money on education because CRNA tuition is no joke . I pray you find a better avenue and that it works out for you. I watched a video that said you are in Gods waiting room and it’s just not your time yet . ❤

Change your state so you get $150/hr and upwards.
This was helpful! Thank you
Aww thank you michele! I love your vlogs 😌 may God be with you and guide you in the journey of opening your own practice 🙏🏾
Transfer to another state. You got the West Coast, Oregon and Washington that pays better and the demand is high.
38 time…. I think it’s racism…they sense the accent and feel like you wouldn’t be good enough. U would be surprised of the stereotypes for black nurses with accents. Meanwhile Hispanic nurses some don’t speak any English and they have charge nurses jobs using google translater when talking to clients.
Job everywhere. Why?

The tele health positions are not really options. I have no idea how anyone actually gets those jobs. They require you have licenses in multiple states - sometimes ten or twenty and they want you to have them before they hire you, and each job is asking for different states. You would need to register your CDS and DEA. You are easily talking $20,000 in licensure fees, let alone the hassle and the time to apply and the upkeep of each license. I can’t believe anyone does that, but they do and that’s how they get away with it. They pay lower than in person as well. If a company requires that they need to facilitate it and pay for it after they hire you.
That’s what I was thinking ! It’s crazy they needed 8 licenses and want me to pay for them all before hire. That’s crazy
It’s not you and it’s not that the jobs are going to other people or there are too many NPs , it’s that the jobs aren’t real. Recruiters post ghost jobs and companies post fake jobs to look like they big viable companies and to get your contact information. Many of them compile this information and sell. They are totally wasting our time and using our information to make money. I would say that probably half of the jobs on indeed, zipcruiter, Glassdoor are fake, fake, fake! Several recruiters confirmed this.

Relax your body, women aren’t supposed to work. Let your husband handle the bills for awhile.
lol
They have crashed the nursing profession and you have to have more than one job now to make ends meet. Going back to school is a deception for nurses. It doesn't help
Yes going back to school can just bring extra bills without a significant change in the income
To me, that was a sign for you to start your own business? IV HYDRATION? URGENT CARE? HOME VISITS? What do you think?
Aww I actually took a iv hydration class. Been thinking about it ! Wait can I start an urgent care business ? Hmm
You don’t have to do much. The NCLEX now is too easy.

Please help me. What is the name of the agency that you used? Thank you for the information.
Please dm me on instagram
Also, employers are now looking at social media and I would not be surprised if they look at your youtube page and make a decision based on what they see. I watched another NP on here who believes thats what happened when they didn't get a job.
I do not use my government name on here
You would be surprised how much discrimination goes on in healthcare. You can be qualified on paper but if the interviewer hates your accent, you will not get the job. It's sad. I have seen it all the time.
Yup! Been a victim of it
Come to Atlanta .
I think that's what it can be
I am interested in knowing what agency you use. I an a nurse already in US
Please dm me in instagram
Stop wasting time. All these degrees and no jobs.
Go be a nurse educator you have that degree.
🙏🏾
The problem you all want to run to be NPs . I suggest people move through, icu,ER and other rotations before they go to school for NP. They should require 10 solid years before people are accepted in a NP program.
That’s definitely not true. There are 3 million nurses in the US and only 300,000 NPs.
@@michellesabatinifornaro4859 you can disagree but you can't tell me.a board certified NP that's not true.
@@nighni459 this is just gatekeeping a profession. There are plenty of seasoned, 15-year experienced nurses that would make horrible nurse practitioners and someone with 3 years experience that would make the best nurse practitioner out there. Timing doesn’t mean you’re good or knowledgeable at your job.
Wow
Thank you very much this helps a lot
I’m glad it did ! You are welcome
My dear as I listen to your story I am hearing quite a few things from you. First, you quit your NO job without anything to replace it. Second, you have 2 very young children and a husband that you want to be at home with. Third, you desire to go back to school for CRNA. Fourth, you are living in the Midwest and not getting the jobs that you think that you should have because you are a NP. Lastly, you turn down a position because it’s lower than the job you walked away from and yet you have faith that God will give you something more. My question to you is, could it be that God has you stagnated so that you can become clear. I live in the Midwest and I am also a registered nurse. I had to be honest with myself as well and recognize what was the driving force in my life and career. So I as you if you are presented an opportunity that will allow for you to be home to enjoy your family but pays less money why would you turn it down? If you don’t have to rush to get a job and can go back to school while your husband works then just do that. None of us gets everything we want there will always be a sacrifice in one area or another. Finally, if you haven’t already noticed there is absolutely racism in the healthcare sector especially with nursing. Be blessed!!
Thank you 🤍
I hear you! So sad.
😔
Why don’t you just take a 4-8 week travel nurse position for now and just keep applying. You can start in probably 2-3 weeks go tax exempt for that contract for now.
Now I cannot but it’s something I have considered yes
Midwifery is a great profession. You may need to think about that. Good luck!!!
I was told getting a job there is also tough
And also I did about 150 clinical hours of ob during np school but I don’t have any L&D or Mother baby experience
This video of your is motivating me to wamr to start youtube but my heart drops to my stomach just thunking about it
I understand ! But you can do anything through Christ ! Please start !
Whats ur IG? We can talk. I can relate totally

Interesting
It’s so discouraging I recently graduated Dec 2023. My speciality is pmhnp I also just left a toxic np job and it’s been very difficult finding another job. I’ve been unemployed for over a month now and I apply but no response, I had one employer setup an interview then call me the same day of just to tell me they decided to hire from within . The job market is bad right now I don’t predict it getting any better at least until after the election in my opinion.
Do you have psych nurse experience? Bc I see jobs everywhere. There's a agency that text me about psych and. Correctional for 64 hr
@@truthteller313 I only have experience as an psych NP
@@Womenofhue . No bedside??
@@truthteller313 Hey do you mind sharing the agency that hire psych nurse? I have about 6 years experience as a psych nurse.
I have both bedside and psych nursing experience, and have been graduated for 2 months with no bites at all. Before anyone blames it on anything else, my resume is great, I’m a veteran, great work background, good area with high demand. Just crickets! And this goes for every specialty even outside of healthcare. It’s the job market that is bad right now.
The DNP to me is an unnecessary degree for a nurse. Advancement in nursing, unlike other professions, is not as respected.
Yes some people don’t care about whether or not you hold a doctorate degree
Agreed. You can’t even say that you’re a doctor in certain environments 😩. I respect the hard work that it takes to get a DNP, but it just doesn’t seem like a good return on investment.
