Beautiful poly culture garden on the backyard. I really love your channel. I’m new here and thank you for sharing.
Welcome to the channel. Thanks for commenting.
Real Life Fruitopia:your welcome and thank you so much for the tips and ideas.😊👍
Hello... I’m impressed with your video .. you are very clear.. you have many plants.. I’m impressed...I’ve been planning to set myself up with a farm ...I was watching your show and you say that you will be pruning your plants.. you said your out of room to replant... so I was wondering is it possible to collect from you some of your prunings? I would love to plant some of these beautiful plants ...
Thanks for watching and for your kind compliments. Your proposal is a good idea, but I'm afraid I can't help with that. All the best with your farm.
Great tour thanks George. I've read that grumichama only take about a month from flower to ripe fruit, is that the same there as well?
might be a week more.
@@RealLifeFruitopia remarkably quick, a must have plant 👍
I live in a substropical region of Brazil. Summers are hot, winters can get as cold as 3 C (even colder, dependig of the year) and jackfruits grow very well here, and get very tall, but papaya tends to suffer alot during the winter. I'm successfully growing achachairu under a pigeon pea tree for two years an its surviving. I also grow canistel. I'm not shure if abiu would survive the cold, but im growing its cousing, Pouteria torta, simillar, but can stand dry season, fires and frosts mutch better.
I'm wishing my jackfruits will survive. I tried one a few years ago in a large pot but died in winter. I'm surprised achachairu remains alive in -3C! Thanks for sharing.
What kind of potting medium do you use to grow your mango trees?
Premium potting mix for container growing. Compost and native soil for in ground.
Hi George, lovely and motivating videos.
I am wondering what the PVC Pipe is for at the base of the plant.
Thanks!
With some trees I had installed PVC pipe for deep watering and for checking drainage. Thanks for watching.
Thanks George!! Look forward to sharing my fruit orchard that I am establishing here in Sydney with you.
@@bhargavchaitanya8002 Nice.
Dude, I can see myself hanging out with you in your garden for hours just talking about plants.
On the Wax Jambu is it that it likes dry conditions or something in the water?
All my plants receive the same water. It's one of many fussy tropicals that doesn't like wet feet. Sapodilla is another. Maybe in ground they respond differently.
Awsome video mate, I could of watched 3 hours.
Any idea where I can get a jujube in Melbourne?
I’m in the south east, Can’t seem to find any at the moment.
I got mine at BAAG Bulleen, Melbourne.
Real Life Fruitopia ah nice, might swing by after iso lifts.
btw, where did you get the wax Jambu?

Hi Mate
Really great 👍
Garden you have and we can see your all hard work
May I know which area you living in Melbourne
Outer SE suburbs. Thanks for watching.
I’m liking the Wax jambo fruit! Can’t wait for you to try it. I’ve never had it for. Does it turn red when ready??
They can vary, from candy red to a pale red blush.
Hi! I have a jujube tree in a pot started to fruit in the first season. Do you recommend me to plant it in a pot or in the ground as people on TH-cam said that the roots are invasive. Thanks for your reply.
In ground 100%.
I have a Li Jujube tree in Southern California, and I have it planted in ground about 4yrs ago. Mine has not produced any unwanted suckers or shoots anywhere in my garden.
do you have cherry of rio grande seeds for sale?
No
How is it possible to grow a tropical avocado and kiwifruit and apples in the same garden? Climate doesn't matter??Amazing..
The garden is located in a temperate warm climate. This means the best of both subtropical and cooler/alpine zones.
Oh no you prune off Cherimoya flowers! It happens man. Yours looks healthy. I have few growing small that we grafted. One issue here they get fungal issues in their roots sometimes from the oak trees around the area. A plant we grow good here it is related to these plants called pawpaw From North America not the Pawpaw papaya. I’ll do some updates on these plants. They have similar chromosomes to Cherimoya.
I am growing two American Pawpaws
Real Life Fruitopia that’s great to hear! Are they variety selected or from seed?
@@BlakesNaturelife Two different varieties chosen to cross pollinate.
Real Life Fruitopia that is awesome, I recently got different varieties that I have grafted. Tomorrow we are going to pollinate lots of different varieties that are making flowers now. It’s a good sign if your pawpaw defoliates in winter. Some here don’t deflate all the way. This will make it not flower. By taking all the leaves off it thinks it went through winter.
@@BlakesNaturelife Nice. Both mine will lose all their leaves.
Good video! I enjoyed!
Nice George! Have you tried growing frangipani/plumeria?
I have tried numerous times. They are just like papaya and babaco, hate wet feet in winter. Although one of my favourite flowering plants, it's too much trouble.
Have you tried in pots to control water in winter? They grow easily in ground in Adelaide with the extra 2-3 degrees in winter night time temps. Mango, longan and sometimes lychee is also easy in ground here so will be interesting how you go in Melbourne
@@meethu101 I might try again in the future. Right now my hands are full with all the new Daleys trees.
I got many variety of jujube let me know if you interested. I'm in Melbourne west
Noel No how are they going? I’m thinking about putting a jujube in but my garden is packed tight already lol
Hi Noel, which type of jujubes you have got?how much per plant are you selling for?
Never too long of a video, could easily go another hour
hahah easily can do it but gets hot holding camera. Thanks for the encouragement.
Hi how is everything
Wonderful!

hi new friend here from dubai
Welcome to my garden :)
@@RealLifeFruitopia thank you sir for sharing this video. i really love it
You should close your mouth while chewing.. that sound from your mouth is really awkward and irritating
