Thx! I think when ppl see more reels with it. It may happen! Like bfs reels finally made it back to main stream. Hope the curado is successful so that more shimano stuff comes. I know Zephyr is successful

Great upgrade and beautifully made! Jimbo, you know how the clicker on the KastKing Zephyr sounds "plasticy" I found out why. Part #20 CLICK PLAM (typo? schematic says plam not palm) is the round disk with detents for the tiny steel ball. Well the plam is plastic. If someone could make one out of steel then the Zephyr would have a quality sounding clicker. I'm going to contact Sagisi and ask if he could produce these. Should be a good market for them and it's a simple / inexpensive part for someone like him to manufacture. A freebee to Ole Jimbo to demo would maximize sales too.
I think u should first tell kastking about what you think is better and why. I personally like this as I feel that metallic clicker sounds cheap. These more subtle clicks gives your reel vibration and keep the noise low. Gotta fish like a ninja!
@@rawrfishing You're right about contacting KK as they do listen to their customers, I will do that. (i already contacted Sagisi BTW) Good point too, not everyone has the same opinion on clicker sounds but man, the Zephyr is just TOO plasticy.

I don't think I will since my camera makes it difficult to record and work on the reel. There are plenty of reel cleaning videos out there that you can reference 😉
Nice video, I couldn't find drag clicker for other reels, for example Curado 200 or for SLX XT.
Perhaps look at their other models to see if their reels have clickers that can fit and swap some gears around?
Do you have the dimension of the detent spring and bullet? I want to make my own for Alphas 103L purple.

Thx mate! Yep, and that's how I found out my reinstalling portion was screwed and thus I provided schematics as i thought it be useful for everyone. It's really hard to do these videos behind the camera lol. Need an overhead camera mount or something that can support my heavy camera...

How much line do you have on that reel?
Lol. The line is old and got stripped out already for a photo shoot. But I will likely put 75 to 100ft of braided line next time around. I never put braided line in this reel so it's time for fun
First of all thanks for sharing the tips of installing the clicker I did it on my Daiwa Salamandura and is Awesome. I start to face some problem when I install it my Tatula sv tw the handle become unlock hope you can advise me on it. Your anti reverse bearing is flipped around when you installed it. Flip it back around

So, does this mean that this kit will fit a Tatula? I really hope so. This style drag clicker beats most on the market. Amazon sells a similar version for Shimano curados that I love. Just wish I knew if the main gears were same/similar dimensions with the Tatula.
