I have a few questions ✋ I'm taking notes in lishogi as I watch your videos and Hidetchi's about types of castles. At some point I got confused, because I found the same castle you and Hidetchi named differently and said that it is for different openings. I'll explain:
In this video at 0:42 you call this castle "Cozy Castle" and it's supposed to be good in Double Swinging Rook openings.
In Hidetchi's video (here's link: th-cam.com/video/RKbc-HMqESs/w-d-xo.html) at 9:32 he shows 2nd variant of "Rapid Castle"/"3-move Castle" and it's supposed to be good in Opposition openings, for side with Swinging Rook opening.
So, my first question is, does this castle have actually two different names? And second, is this castle good in Opposition (Swinging side) AND Double Swinging Rook openings? Maybe almost good, but still good..?
Or perhaps there was a mistake somewhere..?
Anyways, thank you for all your hard work!
    Pozdrawiam z Polski 😁

I see why you might be confused. Thank you for asking.
Cozy castle is a new name recently given because it appeared more in pro games.
I think it is good for both opposition and double swinging rook. I'm double swinging rook it is a part of the twin gold castle shake. In the opposition I have seen it in the shining dragon 4th file rook against anaguma.

Thanks for the video. I’m eager to see your professional games’ video!😊 I guess there must be some similarities between double swinging rook and double static rook, as in both cases rooks are in opposite sides, but there must be also differences because of the position of the bishop. What do you think have more influence in the strategies, the similarities or the differences?

Similarities. Bishops can be exchanged ;)

Thank you Karo-sensei, these videos are really great! I also wonder, how can i understand the opponent feinting, starting as a static rook and rotating into swinging rook? Is there any pattern? Thanks for all the effort!

Observe, expect anything and everything ;) play flexible moves until they show their true intentions.

I'm starting to get used to the beginner level opening phase of shogi, bit of a weird question but i played a 2 hour 40 min game with my friend the other day and found i was maybe overcalculating in the first half and burnt out a bit towards the end where i blundered the game. Any advice on pacing yourself throughout long games so you don't lose patience?

Always leave some time for the endgame. But it takes practice. Sometimes you have to burn time to calculate in difficult situations.
I would say don't overthink in the opening, many moves are correct and none decisive usually. So in the middlegame and endgame is where you want to use it. Then think during your opponents time. Predict moves ahead to save up your time...? Hope it helps. But yeah practice practice..

Interesting, Takada-style left side king sounds fun.
On my channel I tend to prefer "fortress" over "yagura" although I suppose I'm in the minority.

It happens often they do not allow you make yagura but it is great castle
