- No, it's not Pac-Man 99, but you can be forgiven for thinking that PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is familiar. After all, it launched as PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle in 2020 - a Google Stadia exclusive that would subsequently go down with the platform.
Now that it's back on multiple platforms, complete with cross-platform play and minor changes, it offers an altogether different battle royale approach. You now directly invade other players' mazes during matches, consuming their dots and Power Pellets, leveraging Power-ups and causing chaos. It's a novel approach that can be fun for a few hours.
Bandai Namco still needs to build on it, offering more content, a proper Ranked experience that makes wins and losses matter, offline options and much more. Whether PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will get that is unknown, but it's a decent experience. - เกม
It's great to see Pac-Man getting some much deserved love over the past few years. Pac man museum+ is amazing, and stupidly cheap. Leaderboards are active too. Worth every penny of the $20 for the physical PS4 copy.
I like the review, honest and upfront and tells everything you need to know. I think I’m definitely still picking up this game and I’d honestly think they would still support it more down the line.
This is what I dont get about some online reviewers - 6 1/2 minutes highly praising a game only for the last 30 seconds to get a sudden dump of negativity and BOOM, a 6/10 for what initially was sounding like and 8 or 9.
so it’s a 8/9 game and seems worth it. i’m buying it today. it’s a shame it’s just online my son would have loved this but with no offline modes that’s a bummer.

I have no issue with that at all. For me, it says the game will feel very fun and exciting when you just get it, but over time you might find that it ages quickly and maybe gets boring after a while. I definitely prefer this over someone overly hyping and overrating a game only for me to find it a 5 at best. Give me the harsh critique. It's also helpful to check out other reviewers like GS and IGN so you get a better idea of what is far more personal opinion versus facts. It's a game review. Always approach it with an open mind.

If you don’t see a controller next to the players names, you’re playing bots. There’s hardly any real players in the game. That’s why it’s so easy to win. I’ve played matches with up to 15 real people and it was a blast. Its more challenging and the matches can be long.

Not the same in the slightest, it's a lot worse compared to similar priced games on the eshop. Like pac museum or championship 2. 1 full game or a collection and both are offline play. This one is $20 USD for dead on arrival servers filled with official bots to satisfy the match player requirement
