How would you go setting up a txid on a lake say for instance linear, what would beep speed be set at and also where would response be set? Cheers.
You set the response as high as possible without getting false indications. You then adjust the beep speed ideally so the warble only kicks in when you get a run.

So this is ideeal in windy conditions to register dropbacks?
Beep Speed just changes where the warble kicks in. You must adjust the response (R) control to set it to respond to the line movement. In windy conditions you would need make sure you have a stable set up i.e. our hangers with the arms or at least add more weight to non Delkim hangers. You need to make sure things are not moving around and then you can keep the Response higher even in the wind.
I have a different question, I have a brand new Delkim txi d but the jack doesn't work, will resetting the alarm help with that?
Unfortunately if the socket is not working it would need to come back to us to be exchanged/repaired
