I would love an RPG type One piece game. Have up to say 10 crew members . The reason with 10 instead of like 40-50 is you can spend time leveling up these characters. You could choose a fishmen, mink, skypea, etc. one crew member could be 5 ft tall while while another could be like 10 ft lol. And you can find and eat, trade, or sell devil fruits. If one of the crew members eat a devil fruit then that's that and you can't go back you have to stick with that fruit. Also, by like level 30 is when you unlock Haki and you can build it up making it stronger as you level up.

I'm so happy that Doffy uses God Thread as his Ultimate, I was worried that it'd be Birdcage which I believe would be unfitting. Although, it would have been nice if God thread was embedded in Haki like how the anime depicted it.

Also how can something being for comedy be applied to the entire series even though one piece isn't realistic it has been mentioned repeatedly that blunt attacks can't hurt luffy. Edit: and even if he wasn't made of rubber she still wouldn't be able to hurt him because she's weak as hell.

Thats kinda why One Piece games disappoint me. This one got pretty close, but the moves mostly lack the impact I'm used to from the DBZ and Naruto games. I love the ring-out animation though. And overall, this might be the best One Piece game. And the theme is hype.

+Earth The Kid I do agree that Pirate Warriors is fun, but people can basically say that it's a Warriors game with One Piece characters, which I don't blame them for since it's nothing really new when it comes to games being made by Omega Force (also for me being a Warriors fan especially sees this. I'm not really much of a fan of One Piece or many anime/manga in general, so I pretty much got it for being another fun Warriors game), even though it does have a few notable things to differentiate itself from other Warriors game.
Not saying that that's a bad thing, of course, but my point is that, at the very least, this game tried to make itself more unique or differentiate itself from other games as a One Piece game by itself. Not really saying that that's a really good thing and that the reason is good enough to want to purchase it (both being completely subjective, of course), but again... I'm just saying. XD
Beth Masey well, anime games are pretty hard to make actual quality out of since its more or less a TV show adaptation game but I believe that having one piece be a warriors game is doing the most justice to its source material like how making DBZ fighting games is doing the most justice to that source material

Late reply but, she uses fishman karate so it's easy to make movesets for her. Her attacks are similar to Jimbei.
@@shafootodess Late reply but, Shanks has always been in One Piece games even Pre Timeskip. His moves in games have always been haki based attacks and red lightning. Maybe that's what we're gonna see in the anime when the time comes. Maybe Oda had spoiled his moves all along.
@@vc7415 Absolutely not lmao, Oda said that he didn't even think about Shanks fighting style and he would never spoil it for a videogame, he doesn't even cooperate for videogames, that's the job of his editors. The reason why Shanks is in one piece game even if we still don't know his powers, it's because people like him, so it's just fun service. They gave him the red lightning power for sure as a reference to his pirate name.

I wish they just focus more on story arcs when they are making One Piece game. I don't like seeing random characters from past showing up out of nowhere. Especially when they can't add all the characters and they need to cut off some interesting characters from recent stories.
I want to see Supernova, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, and Marin Ford in one game, and Return to Shabody, Fishman Island, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa in next.
i really liked that Namy can Electrify Luffy while he's made of Rubber xD, but Enel that is more powerfull than Nami, he cannot electrify Luffy xD

Alot of these one piece characters have some very unique powers and abilities and that is saying alot considering were talking about anime. The way luffy uses his stretching is very creative. Elongated man, plastic man and Mr. Fantastic had all been around the block far longer than luffy, yet his gum gum style out classes them by a mile. Not to mention Luffys "Shonen transformation" is unlike anything I've seen in alot of anime. Usually they try to make the characters look cool as possible but Luffy, while still looking awesome it's just so out there. Then you also have characters like Robin and I don't even need to elaborate on the uniqueness of her power. She turned hands into feet 😂😂

Out of all the Ults I'm the most surprised/sad about jozu. I mean the man actually has a named move (brilliant punk) but seeing as how its a simple shoulder charge the developers were probably like 'wait wat can this diamond guy do exactly?' After reading a summary of him at the OP wiki, 'oh yeah he threw a decent sized chunk of ice that kuzan made. Ah.. yep thats his big finisher.' Yet still better than anything they come up with for shanks, I hope he doesn't even actually use his sword outside of spars with mihawk.Also whats the difference between smoker's finishers?

+br000ly It sounds like they didn't even record new lines or they had them sound very underplayed. Attack names are called really fast and they look really stupid to me. The black lines streaming from everywhere I guess is to make stuff look dynamic but that only works for still comic art. And not video games where things are moving. It's almost like they were trying to use it to look better.
I love the animations and effects, I'm sure part 2 will be more improved though this one ima eventually get
