Hey Tiff, you don't need to pull off the velcro tabs from the cushions. Find a nice coordinating ribbon (that feels like canvas NOT silky) and simply hot glue it (or other type of adhesive) over the tab leaving the velcro exposed so it's usable. Like a little slipcover for the tabs. If the white showing is still a problem, take a black sharpie to it! 🌻

Is the Ikea store a membership type of store? Like BJ's or Sam's club or Costco? Love the cushions even the color would work in my home. And $4.99 is a really good buy. A nice cushion for the bench would be nice as well. Nice glasses they look almost like a juice glass. Tall pitcher is beautiful lemonade or iced tea would be good. Wicker basket with the liner would be a nice utensil holder. Absolutely beautiful hutch. I can see decorating for the different seasons on the shelves. the cabinet part can hold linen, place mats, to bad though it doesn't have a drawer. but it is so nice. You were lucky to find something like that, that will fit that space.

I love the new cabinet. I have two hauga cabinets in the gray (that have been discontinued) along one wall of my tiny kitchen that I use as my pantry. They fit perfectly, and I love the combination of open and closed storage.

As a lover of shelves, built ins, places to create Vignettes,... I like it! I LOVE to style my spaces as well...and as long as YOU love it, that is all that matters... Live with it there, for a few weeks...then you will know if it suits your needs for storage, and for styling your sweet finds.
As long as the area still functions and flows around the table, it should be just fine...and if you ever find that perfect wood antique piece that would fit even better, you can relocate this white one within your home...how cute would that be on your front porch, all decorated for Fall or Christmas!!

My first thought was Wow what a great piece to make a separation between the 2 rooms....and after styling I must say I love it. It's deeper than I thought as you were able to fit the cake tray and lid both on the bottom. Perfect buy....hope you get used to it. Great find!❤

I used to love going to IKEA and walking around seeing what they had. My husband hated it. But he liked to eat there. So he would go. When we moved there isn’t one close anymore. We would have to drive to Atlanta. It would probably be a two hour drive. And that’s too far. That hutch looks great where you put it. It looks like it was made for the space. Who doesn’t need more storage? And now you can put more decor on it. That looks so nice. You picked a great piece,

I love the new hutch, i think it looks great but one way to give it a little be of farmhouse or country cottage charm , you could use some peel and stick wallpaper for the back of it in like a woodgrain pattern or old vintage tiles . i do that all the time to some of my Ikea furniture , really turns it into a one of a kind piece. thanks for the great video!
