This was legit one of those shorts that had me interested in the outcome... then it left me with an unresolved cliffhanger.... Thanks 1950s short, I hate you.
Love the dramatic music at the beginning and end. It was used in the "true" Western show STORIES OF THE CENTURY. There they showed the depredations of famous Western outlaws and killers. Here it introduces a gang of 1950s punks who even the chorus-boy Jets of WEST SIDE STORY wouldn't have much trouble disposing.
Odd Fact: These shorts were filmed in Kansas; a TV personality of the era in Topeka was indeed Gordon Jump(WKRP) so the guys didn't miss it by too much!
Even back in the fifties, these knuckleheads could never handle it outside the suburbs. Out there when they come of age they trade in their dumb matching jackets for matching white hoods.
The "tough" guys would end up in the hospital today just for being nerds. Isn't playing tiddlywinks fun?😃 Getting ready for school; pocket protector with pens in place, hair greased back, tape securing the center of my glasses together, pants short and cuffed, pants above the waste, shirt buttoned all the way up to neck, white socks with dress shoes, yes I believe I am ready for a day of advanced learning.
When American Motor Corporation owned Jeep, they would use parts from various car companies. The engine would be AMC, the carburetor from ford, the transmission from Chrysler, the brake master cylinder from Chevrolet.
"Juvenile delinquency" Sooo 1950's. As if they didn't have the same stuff 20 years earlier. The 1950's version of this "anti-vaxxer" stuff. If my older brothers stayed out too late my mom would call them hoodlums.

"I'm too noodly!" and "You boys haven't been moving the STUFF very well!" make me laugh every time. 😀
"Well, the four guys who have been doing all of this shit are right outside the door now."
How's Dad?
How did you know?
He's always been my dad

"We're just wastin' time an' we've wasted too much time already!"
"Kill 'em all!"
"...and they took his pencil pouch..."
expecting a flood, son?
"You're gonna miss the Soup of the Day, jerk!"
Those so-called weenies they call a "gang" wouldn't last 1.5 seconds in today's inner city.
Even back in the fifties, these knuckleheads could never handle it outside the suburbs. Out there when they come of age they trade in their dumb matching jackets for matching white hoods.
Lmfao. These were just drama club actors, not street thugs. Calm down.
The so-called inner city "gangs" wouldn't last 10 minutes in the country. So, what's your point?
Quit playing that Ragtime!
Gordon Jump!
Our Maytags broken, sir!
Just where are you going Jamie ?
To the crackhouse ...why ?
I do love a good Shakey's reference!

What exactly were 4 kinda shrimpy guys gonna do against the "good" guys? Shank them outside city hall?
"Dad- "Expecting a flood, son?"
The guy with the greasy hair at the end, at the city council meeting, looks like Divine's character at the end of Hairspray.
CENTRON: The Dawning of a New Day!
"Hold on! Let me get some literature!"
NORM

Crow: He's not dead. He's sleeping!

Golden years of mstk3
LOL @ "You expecting a flood, Son?"
“Why won’t this guy pull out?”
They had shitty drivers in the 50’s too.
The "tough" guys would end up in the hospital today just for being nerds.

06:59 Superman music from the 50's...
I like that piece of music! 🎶
@@teedup8995 👍 It was always used for tension especially when Superman got on the scene and started kicking butt.
It can also be heard in the 1958 movie the blob
A Fordillac?!
Do they ever put the emergency brake when they park the cars? Because it seems they just stop & everybody's out if the car within 2 seconds.
They're juvenile delinquents, what do they care about traffic safety?
Son you have angel hair pasta on your shirt
Canned music same as "Superman" , season 1.
I love all the Shakey's reference cause I my parents always took me there when I lived in California.
Tom: Is Archie's teacher!
7:22 Was their car idling? How did it start up and get in gear so fast?
7:31 Get to the Choppa
05:01 If I had a nickel every time I've heard this music on TV....
It's so "Klandiktu"! 👽
@@luisreyes1963 Right on. Superman, Sherlock Holmes movies, etc.
Come on mom, I'm your son...
2:34 NORM NORM NORM N0RM NORM!
Can you spot something that's off in my previous sentence?
The Martin Milner gang 😂
So it just ends on a question mark? No suggestions, no ideas? Not very useful as a PSA.
Only you can make the choice on how it ends.
The producer was too noodley...🤓
Tom: To school! (He! He!)
The leader of the gang talks like Joel Osteen, and the tall do-gooder kid is a young Hank Hill.
"I deal with young gangs and young gang accessories."
This audience was definitely dead hahahahahaha
At least my dress the wallpaper and then... huh?
Dusting is SO bourgeois. 😑
5:30, "99% of motorcycle enthusiasts are descent law abiding citizens!" Next time you see a '1%er' patch on a biker vest, "YIKES!!!"...
I'm sorry I'm not the daughter you wanted
07:00 SUPERMAN MUSIC!
