..can we build more than 1 in a turn, example build road, settlement? and what is the harbor with "?" mark? does it mean we can trade two different cards for 1 resource on the bank?..
Yes you can build multiple things in 1 turn as long as you have enough resources to pay for these. Also note that you cannot build more than 15 roads, 5 settlements and 4 cities for the entire game. The 3:1? harbor makes you trade 3 of the same resource with 1 resource of your choice from the bank. The 2:1 specific harbor makes you trade 2 of the same resource that is drawn on this harbor with 1 resource of your choice from the bank.

Stealing one resource applies only when you use a knight card, not when 7 is rolled. Isnt that the rule? Or have I been playing it wrong the entire time?
You steal a resource whenever you place the robber on a new hex, meaning it applies for both cases whether you play a Knight card and you move the robber or when you roll a 7 and have to move the robber.
I played for the first time and I have two sentences. Why is this game so popular? I hated everything about it. Is this the equivalent of the movie the English Patient? Everyone said they loved it but secretly hated it.
Based on statistics, 90% of people who play this game really like it but you always have this 10% who just didn't. Unfortunately, you might be one of these 10%. However there is no right or wrong here. In general, people have different tastes and in board games, players have different preferences so you might not like Catan but probably you will like other games :)
This is the official European version of Catan published by Kosmos and made in Germany. Alternatively, another Catan version has wooden pieces, published by Asmodee and made in China

@@nats_desu you can not use development cards until the next turn. So, you'll have to wait for the next turn in order to use your knight

No the desert can be randomly shuffled along the hexes and placed anywhere inside the island
