If your into car care wether your a new to it or a seasoned veteran? This is a must watch video! Thanks Corey great in site and advice, i learned and re learned a lot from this video.
Thank you so much! Our goal is to teach everyone as much as possible and spread transparent information about the industry! Glad you were able to gain knowledge from this.
@@SkyCarCare I totally agree because car care, detailing lately has been saturated with a lot wrong or misleading mindset and forgot about commitment, transparency and most importantly hard work lol, Relevant and reliable education is much needed in the industry in order.
It is a very good, informative video. Like you said, brands and detailers make claims that a certain coating is going to last 7 years or 10 years and then it doesn't, definitely a customer is lost and in turn more customers are lost. The coating brands need to be realistic. Ceramic Pro is one such example. They make very tall claims but it does not at all live upto the hype. It is good coating though. I personally think CarPro CQuartz 3.0 + CarPro SIC is the best combination in my part of the world (consumer grade and something that sells globally).
Can the spotless 2.0 be used in place of descale during the decon phase? Always the great content! I’m about to buy a 2022 Toyota GR86, and I know CarPro is going to keep it looking great for years.
@@SkyCarCare Thank you for the clarification! My second question is this: for a brand new vehicle (presuming there isn’t heavy swirl marks or marring), do you still recommend both a polish/compound phase? Could I, in theory, go “wash, decon, polish (like essence), panel wipe, then coating”?
@@Coolbreezemcm Also great question. Yes, if there is no damage that requires compounding then you could go directly to the finish polish like Essence.
As an opinion I disagree with using iron C for decon to make surface smooth. I never used iron removing chemicals on my daily driver. I always use clay bar. Clay bar takes off most stuff that iron x misses. I did use iron removing product on my paint and I didn't see bleeding on paint. I see bleeding effect on wheels with same product. Clay bar take off iron particals as well and other contaminants.
They are best used in tandem. IronX is no replacement for clay. But it surely helps with the decontamination process. We referenced our other claying video which furthers the importance of it.
Same with me bradah I hardly get the bleed from the iron remover and in the end I came to a conclusion that, it’s because we take care of our cars which most people don’t put that extra work every week hence they need a deep cleaning version lol! But I still use the iron remover just to make sure;) the obsession is real 😂
@@SkyCarCare so true and also that’s I’m encouraging people and companies a like to make more videos and or get their presence known especially on TH-cam ( IG is awesome but the side effect it brought was “instant” gratification on which it created an effect to where “ if I don’t see the results with minimal to no effort then it’s trash” coupled with “If Corey can do it? So can I” then they get frustrated and become haters coz they didn’t “instantly” got the result or the experience or accomplishments you attained, but in reality little do these people know that involves action and implementation of course but forgot one other main recipe and that is Passion which is not about $ to begin with. ..I hope people will notice something on this video that u made and that is u didn’t push ur product and at times I noticed u try to avoid naming carpro or the products you represent, coz u don’t want it be a factor and or take away from the message u want to relay/ teach , you want us to understand the process, what to expect , how to mitigate possible issues that will potentially be encountered, imho that says a lot about you the passion you have for this industry to flourish with said u won my trust and continued business. Will iron x and Tar remover, remove premium wax like swissvax crystal?
Thank you Nicky!! Good morning! Iron X should have only a minimal effect on a more durable wax or sealant. Tar X will remove it.

Corey
