During a visit to Okinawa in 2018 my wife and I and our group were very fortunate to train every day with Sensei Nakahodo. Usually, we would train with him a couple of times over the course of a two week visit, but this time he seemed to take an interest in us more. At the end of the our last training session for the visit we thanked him for all of the time he had given us. He said "When your teacher Takamiyagi Shigeru died in 2012, I decided that I would help you continue your training in Uechi-Ryu." Now he is my primary teacher.
I like this Sensei. He Seems like a very Kind and down to earth person.. I have a feeling not only his high level karate training keeps him young but also his good sense of Humor. 😀⛩️God bless this Great Sensei😀
This is the real point of Martial Arts practice. Not just for 6 months or for 6 years but for a lifetime ...And here you can see the proof of that statement !

He looks healthy with great smiling. That's more than anything else when we get older.
