Just make a black an white dunk again that can be bought year round so people can actually skate good looking dunks and not have to pay a fortune to get em.
theyre coming out with a griptape mid ISO that looks like the same material they used for the Griffey ISO which is super durable. Ive had fortunate luck with getting dunks but its nearly impossible and we joke about it at the park. All the best skaters cant get them haha XD I think these mids will be obtainable tho if you act quick. remind of of the griptape mids i skated in 08 and were easy to get

You should try those rubber griptapes like i do they dont ruin you shoes at all i haven't changed my shoes for 4 months now

I wish they’d just do a simple all black upper with a white sole and swoosh and make it available year round so people didn’t have to spend hundreds to get a pair to skate. I’ve always wanted to skate a pair but never was able to cause they sell such small quantities

if you’re really desperate. you can buy fake dunks they’re basically made of the same material just the zoom units feel different but you can swap them out
Because real skaters dont believe the hype. They just skate for fun. Not for the hype.
If you really do want to skate, Imo, dunks are not really top-notch enough that a pro skater would rank it no.1. They are so hyped up because of their silhouette, leaning towards lifestyle. Nike SB lineup has a lot more to offer, like the Janoskis, team classic, etc.

Ive been collecting SBs and skating and destroying them since 05', finally started collecting sb dunks again this year and not skating them, and it's nearly impossible to get something like this. I feel extremely lucky to have won a raffle at Labor Skateshop and been able to purchase my yellow pair! Amazing work Nike SB

@@andrewirazaba I still have them! theyre in their box rn with the special stickers they came. I've kept them like new but I wear them on occasion in my apartment. The only negative thing that's happened is the sun has faded the box I left in my apartment but I love them they're the gem of my collection even today. They remind me of the baby bear sb dunks I missed out on in high school around 2006.
That's why I love these edits. These shoes are being used for what they're meant for. They shouldn't be inaccessible due to greedy, sweaty resellers who don't even skate marking up the price of these shoes.

People can say what they want, but last year the resurgence of the SB’s are what got me into skateboarding after I bought my first pair last October, and these have brought together two great communities, and has allowed me to find a band I really enjoy. Shoutout to all the deadheads and the skaters, and even the resellers, love to all!

Its fucked up cause Nike want to go the hypebeast route and do "drops" for the excuse to charge more. Of all things too i wouldnt have expected GD to collab with Nike, just seems so forced and contradictive to what the dead stood for. Im gonna guess that 95% of the people who get these shoes dont give a fuck about the GD which i feel is super corny. I dont listen to em so idc really bout gettin the shoes but i feel for the real fans out there that cant get these at msrp.
