Hi everyone, in this video I am finishing of the last piece of VCL on the ceiling , fixing the strapping on the, then into the external wall framing .

I obviously haven't seen the architects plans, but I'm curious why the wood insulation is butted up against the wall without a VCL and air gap. Are the walls solid (no cavity) by any chance? Depending on the layers you're fitting on the warm side, I can see how damp would potentially occur.

Great watching the thought process as you're working away on this one. People think you just whip out a drawing and do exactly what it says - which can be a recipe for disaster on a new build - but when you're working with these older properties, you're problem solving, drawing on experience and thinking ahead as you go.

It’s a never ending back and forward between brands , was dewalt for long enough but tbh for general use stuff I think they’re much the same , just whatever little differences you prefer . 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️😆
