Brandon a champion angler needs championship gear and that is exactly what I’m seeing wow very impressive! This must have taken some time to put this Arsenal together experience in the water and great testing to put it all together! Thank you so much for delivering this video content to us appreciate it the time and effort you put into this video! Tight lines take care and can’t wait to see you next year in action again!
Always appreciate the kind words! It took 8 years to build what I have currently. Lots of trial and error on what I thought would be great and ended up not right for the purpose I intended it for.
Awesome gear! And great video! I’m glad I was able to call out and recognize some of those rods and reels before you named them. I even got a personal signature “Brandon Hua Fishing” setup 🤣. Can’t wait to start doing the same and start recording my 2025 kayak rigging series. Your videos are always informative and motivational.
Do you think it’s worth buying the jdm versions of the higher shimano reels? Like the metanium dc? They only go for like $359 but obviously not warranty
I think that is totally acceptable. The mechanical components are the same as far as I know. There’s plenty of non-Shimano reel services out there that can repair anything if needed.
Can you do a video comparing the glx 892s old and new model ? I regret selling my old glx 892s last year now thinking of getting the new model. how does it compare to the old model?
I haven’t spent a lot of time throwing the new 892 but it honestly feels great compared to the old version. It is MUCH lighter and almost feels like the previous gen NRX blanks. I feel like it has a little less backbone but honestly it isn’t a bad thing. Feels good in the hands for sure so far.
@@Jason-416 I have been twitching with my new 892 GLX and caught a 16 lb steelhead and a 13lb Coho. It has plenty of power for sure while being extremely light! Highly recommended!
Next year! All my previous gen NRX’s were mostly JWR’s so I replaced them with the same models in the plus line. I did enjoy the 904 Conquest that I had. Really was just filling in technique specific rods in the meantime.
Unfortunately these are mostly for retailers or for reps to use at shows. You could find some periodically from retailers removing them on marketplace. I had to work to get this one after a show haha.
That’s so awesome lol what a line up
Thank you! Definitely more than the average angler needs I will admit

Great aresenal... I've got every nrx model you have also except for 822 N 902...only use 872s as my only spinning setup...
That’s awesome to hear! The 872 is definitely one of those do everything rods like I mentioned!
Bout time you showed the goods, great collection!
I had some late additions that I knew were going to be added so I was waiting on them. Sorry it took so long!

You got one of my favorite universal spinning setups for sure! I can’t wait to see it all happen bro. You got this 👊🏼
Good presentation Brandon. Was very interested in seeing what you use for the medium/large cranking rod.
Thanks! The glass composite rod is something that I overlooked before but it has really improved my fish landing percentage.
Now that we have the setup, wondering if we could get those waypoints?? 💪🏼👊🏻
I can help with finding your own potential waypoints? 😅😂

No love for the MBR actions? They are my bread and butter!
