Rafa is a true gentleman, even after he left us, he continued to support the club and the local area. He has done a huge amount for the Hillsborough memorial by raising awareness and donating lots of money. He may have made a few managerial mistakes towards the end of his Liverpool career, but the passion and love he has for the club is amazing. YNWA Rafa!
I am a united fan but first, I am a football fan and hillsborough transcends any rivalry. What a terrible tragedy, both the incident and the injustice the victims families had to endure and still do. everytime i reflect upon it, it unsettles me highly. the tragedy has only made one of englands greatest clubs stronger. +Daniel Lee I think sadly theres ignorant and insensitive "fans" both for united and liverpool who forget there are more important things in life like life itself rather than football, and human tragedies such as munich and hillsborough deserve nothing but respect and rememberance. at least Munich was an unfortunate and tragic accident, but hillsborough... dont even get me started, that was all the south 0yorkshire police's fault pure incompetence that unjustly killed so many, injured a lot more and scarred a whole fanbase emotionally forever. What is even more angering, is how unfairly the bodies of the deceased were treated, testing kids and elders for alcohol consumption trying to inject lies of hooliganism to the public when it was ALL THEIR FAULT. It upsets me so MUCH and im not even british. so tragic

this why I love rafa. He isn't even an Englishman or a local, but he loved the city and its people. You can see how much he cares about Liverpool in this video. You don't need to be a scouser or even English to be touched by the efforts of the Hillsbourough familys' fight for justice. Rafa is a legend and a true red!

Hello from the future, Klopp is doing more than well. He is potentially leading Liverpool to the Title, on the 30th anniversary for Hillsborough.
Those Everton fans that have been threatening Rafa in order for him not to take the Evertone job don't have a clue about football.
The Hillsbrough disaster affected both Liverpool fans and Everton fans alike, they both lost family and friends and that disaster unites the 2 clubs, it goes beyond football.
Rafa Benitez has done a lot to help the Hillsbrough families/campaign... therefore the man deserves respect from Everton fans just as much as he does Liverpool fans.
He's a man of integrity and he will do all he can to bring success to Everton, he loves Merseyside his family have lived there ever since he was Liverpool Manager. Give the man some respect and get behind him! :)

Totally hindsight is a great thing. I really feel for Rafa. I think he went in thinking he'd genuinely try and do his best for Everton. But they were never going to accept him unfortunately. Proper scousers will always know what love he has for the city of liverpool. The fact he's settled here. Everton are a rotten club living in our shadow.

I'm all up for having banter with Liverpool fans but I will always respect the club I'm not one of those fans who sing disrespectful chants. Liverpool FC you will always have my back.
