Thanks for the extremely helpful info! I love the idea of finally being able to book mini sessions in one step as opposed to having potential clients fill out a mini session contact form and then automatically receiving their booking form.
I love your videos. I watch every one of them for Honeybook. It's changed my business. I'm a book romance line editor and your videos have helped me streamline my process soooooooo much. Thank you!
Thanks, Kristi! You always break it down so well! I can see combining what I'm doing with my different Contact Forms and generating Lead Forms like a smart file. I wonder if it would be possible to target a specific event type with these and build out one Lead Form for each event type to make it easier to categorize that within Honeybook. For example, if someone was looking for entertainment for their wedding, build a Wedding Lead Form (with the Event Type prebuilt? (like we've done with the Contact Form)) or perhaps for Quinceanera with information specific to a Quinceanera event built into the Lead Form. I can share examples of my Contact Forms with you. The event type is preselected in each type of contact form, and each type has a specific landing page on my website with language specific to that event type, as well as Contact Form questions specific to that event type. The URLs are public, but not published. That way, if the prospective client is looking for a Quinceanera, I can send them a link to that URL and they would see all of the language directed toward that event type. This might be easier to do with Lead Forms, and it should have a much more robust look!
NO contracts can be attached to LEAD FORMS as an automation as in the SCHEDULER AUTOMATED SYSTEM. It is an additional step on our side and additional step on our client's side too. So annoying how this is not a smooth transition. Or have you figured out another way? Please share
I totally understand your frustration! One workaround I’ve found is automating as much as possible after the lead form is submitted-like sending an automated email with the contract link or a smart file that includes both the contract and next steps. It’s not perfect, but it can help streamline the process a little bit. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for updates that improve this. Have you tried this method yet? Let me know if it helps!
Can you do lead forms for release forms? And have them opt into our flodesk email list? Idk if I make sense . Basically I do hair and makeup and usually I just have one client sign for all of the services being booked. But I want to create a release form that I have every single client sign when I do their makeup/hair on the day of. And I would like to add the option to opt into my flodesk email list
Thank you, I'm happy to help!! Lead forms cannot be directly embedded on your website, but you can add a button to your website and link the button to your lead form! Hope that helps 😊
Hey! You will need to connect an automation to the lead form to automate the send of a contract as soon as the lead form is submitted. You can check more about how to connect an automation here: help.honeybook.com/en/articles/8204056-how-to-connect-lead-forms-and-automations Hope that helps!
Hey Michael! At the moment a lead form can not be embedded however you can do it via the contact form. You'll go to the contact form, create new and select the scheduler, then add any other pages you need and create the form. Hope this helps 😄🙌

I think this is a greattt way to use Lead Forms! :)
So helpful!! 💯
Glad you think so!

Is there any way to split the payments for mini sessions using lead forms? For some reason it isn't letting me when I've tried.
Unfortunately, lead forms in HoneyBook only allow for one payment to be scheduled, which must be paid upon submission of the form.

Definitely! :) As for the Flo-Desk part, you can set up a Zapier automation that when a client books or signs or inquires, it adds them to Flodesk.
Re: 6:05
Are you able to embed the lead form similarly to how contact forms are on your own website? Or do you have to send them a link to the form?
Yes!! You can now embed lead forms 🥳 When you're on the lead form, click the share button on the top right corner, then you will find the embed code.
Can the leadform have a custom url also so the client can click a link on your website and appear to not leave the website?
You can do a subdomain with HoneyBook but it's not going to be exact. It will be like for example, dasilvalife.hbportal.co/app/
I love your videos. Can you put the lead link on your website?
Thank you, I'm happy to help!! Lead forms cannot be directly embedded on your website, but you can add a button to your website and link the button to your lead form! Hope that helps 😊
Can I customize my contact forms? Like add images etc?
Yes, you can definitely do so by clicking the + button and selecting Content instead of Question in the contact form 😃
Hey there! You say you can asd a contract to the lead form, but how?

Leads forms are now of “clients” tab
Thank you for the heads up, I'll check it!
why doesn't my HoneyBook have LeadForms?
It may not have rolled out to you yet! Sometimes the features I show on my channel are not rolled out to 100% of users yet, but will be eventually!
Can I not embed a lead form to mywebsite directly?
I am trying to add a contact form on my website, but I want to add the scheduler to it
Hey Michael! At the moment a lead form can not be embedded however you can do it via the contact form. You'll go to the contact form, create new and select the scheduler, then add any other pages you need and create the form. Hope this helps 😄🙌
