      @@junkyarddd1 yeah we saw a bit of that too. 5 was the lowest we saw here. Nothing to do but keep throwing wood in the stove and drink coffee!

    When you get back to digging , I have a couple of ideas for you.
    Show how to cross ditches when you have dug yourself into a corner.
    Explain what the boom swing is for when you are digging close to something.

      Thank you for the ideas, I am putting them into my Trello board now :)

    I tailgated wet sand for the first time yesterday. A few loads jammed or came out in portions. I don't know if it's because it was wet or I was raising the bed too quickly due to learning. Went great today until the last load jammed and everyone had left. Had to call the foreman back to push the gate closed so I could unchain it. Only safe way I saw on my own would have been to lower the bed completely and disassemble the chains. Hopefully your tips will help.

      Wet material is tough. You may have to open the gate more than you normally would to get it to come out. thanks for watching!

    [a, lot of times if the gravel is frozen. can add some larger gravel to mix it and it will spread better]

    I have the same problem with the frozen stuff another question do you have your phone set up as a speedometer?

    • @DirtAndRocks
      @DirtAndRocks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it was that day. However we have since added a permanent speedometer as we had to give up the search for a speed sensor for that truck. They were discontinued like 10 years ago. Ahhhh old truck life. Thanks for watching

      Phone mount: www.proclipusa.com/pages/product-finder
      I bought from them on both of my trucks. Very happy with them
      Also search gps speedometer on Amazon. Lots of options if you want something more permanent
