Thanks, there seems to be lots of confusion about Rumba/ Bolero out there. Took me forever to figure out what a ballroom Rumba was. From what I understand, and according to Jim Riley in his book "Survival Guide for the modern Drummer", a Ballroom Rumba is essentially a Cuban Bolero.
The crack on that snare when he plays the sidestick sounds beautiful!!!
