I made this tonight and it was one of the tastiest curries I have ever made. I've made this dish a total of 5 times now, what I would suggest is that you cut out the bit where you add extra water if the chicken breast you are using isnt of a high quality, reason being the chicken will leak a lot of water out of it and if you add extra water you get more of a chicken curry soup ^^, Extremely tasty dish tho
I agree, I like my thick curries. Also water adds to cooking time. I actually cook this in 5 mins. Onion, garlic, ginger, and spices for 2 mins. Then thinly slice the chicken, cook that for 3 mins (if it's thin sliced it will cook fast). Then add the cream. Then you're done in no time

This looks good! I recently learned that the key to a good curry is to really cook down the onions until golden brown for chicken, dark brown for red meat. Plenty of ginger and garlic and the spice combination is up to you. add a bit of liquid at a time. Better to keep adding than putting too much in. Curry is a labour of love and can't be rushed.

I tried this recipe today for the first time it came out SO GOOD
I just made this curry. I changed it slightly as I was using thigh meat instead of breast. I cooked as per the recipe but removed it from the heat and cooked my thighs separately before re adding to the base mix. WOW.!!! Don't think this is a weak mid week curry.! This is an epic tasting full on flavour explosion. I did add a couple of small green chillies to add a bit of heat with the garlic and ginger because I like a bit of heat. I served it with egg fried rice and buffalo wings. Many thanks for sharing the recipe. Recommend any curry lovers give it a try.!!
I cooked it today with my daughter. So delicious!
I usually don’t cook at all but following your instructions I made this and it was amazing I even surprised myself
i made this almost exact and I think i finally found out what my friends mom would make whenever id go to her house. it smelled so good. IT WAS DELICIOUS 10/10 gonna make again some time soon :3
This recipe is so easy and absolutely delicious. I have made it several times. One of my favorite recipes.
I made this tonight and it was hit! Even my mother in law who doesn't care for indian food enjoyed it as well. This was sooo good. Sated my craving for Indian, will definitely make again. I used a little bit more curry powder and garam masala than was suggested
That background music is so relaxing 😄
This was my first ever curry and omg it was soooooooo flavorful and delicious! My partner loved it too, thank you for the recipe! :)

Thank you for this recipe, I made it last night followed the recipe exactly and it came out absolutely delicious, served it with rice, everyone loved it 🙏👍👍
Omg! I just made this and it was delishes. The only difference was, I had already seasoned the chicken. Easy to follow!
I made this last night using coconut milk and the result was simply delicious
With tomatoes?
@@lovelymoyet6614 yes l made it as indicated.
@@laurettecastellano2830 im doing the same but adding green chilis

i made this a couple of nights ago. a little bit challenged to make this living in Ecuador; no garam masala to be found! excellent flavor without the garam masala. I'll be making this dish again! thanks!
😍
Aligning the uncovering of the pan to music at 2:20 was just over the top.
This is heartburn inducing food not an iconic skin reveal movie scene.
Mace this many times now and I must admit it’s better than a curry house.
My wife likes it blended smooth which isn’t bad but I prefer as it is.
Thanks for sharing this
Made this tonight. Don't be shy with the ingredients and make sure you season liberally. Really a good recipe, tasted fucking awesome!
Oh no please no swear swear me child

Really nice post with the emphasis on the food rather than the egotistical posing of a pseudo chef. Nice music as well. I'll try this recipe and a few others. Thanks.
I definitely recommend this recipe ill definitely be making this again my tip is let the tomatoes cook or else you will feel them
I've made this multiple times and my family absolutely loves it. It's super easy and really rewarding. My gf works with East Indians and brought the leftovers to work and they thought it was an authentic curry made by an Indian lol.
Lol 😂
Did you use Chicken or Vege Stock instead of water? I'm thinking of giving this a crack, looks yummy :)
@@TheRoadtrain I used water, but my next go ill be using chicken stock. I recommend cooking it slower and longer on a little less heat. Low and slow for Indian food will really bring out those flavours.
This weekend i'm going for it. Think I'll use chicken pieces with the bone in as that will give it more flavour, and I'll try the vege stock, I don't want it to be too Chickenee lol if thats a word. Low and slow, thank you for that tip :)@@EastVan604
Nga mihi! All the way from Aotearoa...love this...easy and quick. Absolutely delicious!

This music really got me in the mood while I cooked
I made this the other night and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve never been able to make a nice curry before so thank you! Making it again next week 🙂
Is it true you can use greek yogurt instead of Coconut milk/cream for the thickening? if not yogurt could you just use milk?
I usually watch cooking shows to understand how to cook and grasp an understanding of how everything comes together. I recently started looking up cultural recipes to challenge myself and THIS was SIMPLY AMAZING! I was so impressed that I nailed it on my first try and my gawd the flavor is exquisite. It has been forever frustrating to me to cook a curry just right and I will use this as a stepping stone to become better. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
My pregnant wife has currently lost all her appetite for chicken, but this recipe seems to have brought it back! Thank you! It was a complete hit!
