    Nice job. I fitted a Tides Marine sailtrack last year after experiencing the same issues as you with the mainsail jamming in the track. My sail now glides up and down without any issues. I also have a stackpack and lazy jacks. Definitely money well spent.

    We installed our Tides Marine track about two weeks ago. Didn't have to remove the boom, thank goodness. We kicked it way over to one side and were able to line up the track well enough to install it. Once we got it going, it went in pretty easily. We are pretty pleased with the new arrangement. Raising the main is still a bit of work just because the sail is so heavy, but now it drops very easily and the lazy jacks help it fall right into our Mack Pack sail cover. Lazy Jacks will make your life much easier! Good luck getting everything tuned.

    Would it be easier to pull the track up with a halyard ?

      @@curtgrina1076 but it would be tied to the top of the track. You’d have to climb up there and detach it.
