Oh, man. Don't get rid of the 14R! They aren't making them anymore, and they never will again! The next closest example of a big engine bike is the Triumph Rocket 3R. But that's a muscle-bike, not a sport bike. Mark my words... the next class of bike headed for the chopping block is ALL liter bikes and larger! After that, 700's and 600's. This situation is similar to owning a big V8 muscle-car just before the gas crisis in the 1960's! Those of us who have 14's are now in possession of the very last. Hold on to them!
im glad you made it back home okay and safe, but personally had it been me. i wouldn't have risked running the motor with no oil. it was leaking out alot faster than you could probably see. did you top it off to make it back home or did it run bone dry?
Hope it gets resolved. Honest question. Arent you leaving a trail of oil for other motorcyclists and cars? The tow would be $200? Reduce any further engine damage too
@@RealJay1k Where is the slow leak comin from? I have a 2023 14r, it would be helpful to know what to keep my eye on, on my bike. Hope the slow leak is an easy fix? Thank You for your vid!!
Tire covered in oil just call a tow at that point crazy dangerous. Glad your boy peeped it early.
You’re right, I should have called for a tow. I was a risk I didn’t have to take. Sometimes in life you flip a coin and get lucky

I made sure to top it off before heading home. It was still a risk for sure but everything ended up working out.

It was a slow leak that was getting burned off by the exhaust. I asked my buddy if I was leaving a trail and he said he didn’t see one
