There should be a Sample code listing menu item on the Build home page. It's terrible for a build conference that it so hard to find any samples directly.
Wonderful. I approve of this. If the community likes to work on it. Good if it works well with integrated Copilot systems. Especially for that experience of WPF, letting Copilot build and script it for us.
Absolutely. It's insulting that this is being introduced by someone who calls themselves more of a designer than a coder and then proceeds to make a UI in text. Insane.
You guys never put links to the source code shown in these demos. Can you please start doing that so we devs can play around with the features? (and I'm not talking about the WPF Gallery/WinUI Gallery)
nice, i love wpf, i have earned money thanks to this amazing technology, i think something that wpf is missing a could be really helpfull is entity framework support
Looking forward to the TitleBar! Just one thing missing: when it has interactive controls, the titlebar height should be `Tall`, to let the window buttons size to it.
Something I don't get with this the reason I use desktop apps because they give you better preference and more functionality than web apps. Why not show how to build a desktop first like application (VS, Photoshop, office, unreal engine...) and focus on something that looks like a mobile app like windows store.
Am I the only one that miss the good old drag and drop of UI element a la Winform or Delphi when it comes to using those new GUI toolkit? Having to mess manually with xaml/xml code seems a waste of time and error prone. And frankly I don't really see anything here that couldn't be done before.
"Transitioning Win2D to Reunion is In-Progress" will this ever be completed? The Windows development environment is broken long ago, go back and fix it. Please stop acting like it is working.

We need a designer view build into Visual Studio for WinUI, i think a lot of people have been asking for that since 2021

Vs code, web office (no addins), photopea are all web apps that feel mostly native and are pretty heavy lifters
