Ein sauberes gepflegtes Dorf. Die kleinen Gassen mit den schönen Häusern gefallen mir. Ich kenne Saanen noch von früher. Als Simmentaler war ich oft im Saanenland und natürlich auch in Saanen. Es hat sich einiges zum positiven Verändert. Ein beliebter Treffpunkt war oft das Landhaus. Viele schöne Erinnerungen kommen da hoch. Danke für das super Video.

It's possible that these videos of yours may be recording the end of the tourist industry as we now see it in the Swiss countryside. Your nation is once again reporting over 16,000 new COVID cases per week, and not even ultra-wealthy Switzerland can sustain the financial losses from that forever without it having huge impacts. I'm betting that you'll see far fewer visitors in the future, and a move towards an even more exclusive and expensive experience to raise the profit margins . . . but only time will tell. 😷

And it should be clear by now that it is very unlikely to go back to the way it was, especially now that we know you can still get sick even if you are fully vaccinated. 😷
