👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job - I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! But that couldn't change the fact that I'm completely addicted to the idea of building passive income streams that will allow me to retire from ever working a 9 to 5 job again.

Is there a way to automate a variable in kittl?
I've never tried Kittl, and only just clicked on your video and channel here by chance:)😊 Installed subscibed:)😊Great content:)😊 Personally I have always been using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create my designs (a bit of a traditionalist, I am for sure), but your wonderful presentation using Kittl has tempted me to maybe try Kittl and give it a go:)😊 Looks interesting and maybe a timesaver:)😊 Many thanks for uploading this wonderful video:)😊
Hi ryan. Do you recommend buying premade editable design bundles?
I noticed 72 dpi in the coffee design which, as you know, should be 300. Why? Are you using the free version?
I can't change the size , it says i can't go higher then 800xp , that means tye whole free thing is useless 😢
Thanks for this video!!! I really want to love Kittle but the scroll bar is not there and I can't use a site that doesn't allow me to scroll through anything. Even using my down button does not work :( Super sad about this because I really wanted to join :/
On a laptop you can use two finger swipe to scroll up and down on the mouse pad, on a desktop you can just use your mouse. I thought the same thing so I messaged them
I played with kittl for a few hours. It drove me nuts. You click on an object to move it a bit and pop out window blocks your view of your image. argh.
Hey Ryan, I noticed you left your resolution at 72 DPI. Will that print well? I was always under the impression you needed a 300 DPI resolution.

@@pamelastansbury1407 Hi Pamela, the higher the resolution the better the imprint will look. It is recommended to go with 300 DPI.
I randomly get designs rejected from Kittl artwork and I've changed the text and shifted a few things around. I thought all of these could be used for commercial use?
I've never heard of any marketplace using AI on graphics that approve/reject like that. Amazon Merch does a little bit but not to the extent where Ive heard of it rejecting Kittl designs

1. Dude, I'm not sure if it's enough to check the trademark only in the US(tess) or do you need to do the same in other countries (WIPO)? I about: Redbubble, Teespring, Teepublic, Spreadshirt.
2. Is it possible to use simple, general words
to describe goods in tags? For example: cat, dog, cats,
dogs, coffee, names (Elon(not Elon Mask) and others).
Everyone uses, but trademarks are registered there.
i do not want to check every word, but I plan to sell
not only T-shirts, but also for example: cups, blankets,
stickers. Lots of other products that offer POD platforms.

I like kittl. But I went through the free 10 designs in less than an hour. The $10 for 50 designs will take me less than a day to finish those.
Hello, you can go to your profile and see those designs. From there you can re-edit them to a different graphic or delete that design from your profile to open up space to use a different design.
Curious why you would barely talk about setting the DPI ? A new designer should be told that 72 or 96 is not the same as 300 dpi, if they try to upload to red bubble poster it won't scale nicely.

But do you have a sense of artistic achievement? 😉
They no longer allow free user to access all templates, at least let them try but limit the option to download high resolution, bad move.
Hey there! You still have access to all of the templates that were on Kittl, even in the free version. We've only recently rolled out what are called "Premium Templates" that are reserved for the Expert plan of paying subscribers, but all not all new templates are "premium" by any means. And you are correct that higher resolution file downloads are available in the paid accounts, but be sure to always check back, because we are always updating the resolution for Free downloads (as we are still in beta and trying to make the best tool possible. 😀) We appreciate the feedback!
@@Kittldesign thank for your response. My suggestion, don't limit the premium templates to paid users only. Let the free users try it on their designs, but cannot download or download with watermark. Doing that way can encourage users to upgrade subscription because they can actually see the template in action.

When I first started it I could remove the background & it would be saved. Now I can only remove the background in kittle , background is still there when you save it to png or jpeg 😔 I’m sure with a paid subscription you could, but I’m cheap & won’t do that 😏🤣
Use photopea to remove backgrounds ;)
@@PegeCovers thank you I'll check it out! I use photoshop to take the background out of easy designs I do in Kittle. But the really involved designs are tough to remove sometimes in photoshop.

Kttl is slow n annoying. Too many moving parts for me.. I also think the designs are ten a penny..

And we're sorry to hear you don't like the design templates too much, but you can always start from scratch just like any other design program to come up with something custom. Cheers!
I had just the other opposite expierence. Once you learn how to put the designs together it is easy and fast to put new designs together. Even can bring in your own sketches into the designs. Only reason I have not joined it after the 10 free designs is that. $10 for 50 designs is not going to last me more than a day.

Ryan have you came across brands or designs that do not allow reporting for copying ? I done my duty n reported some thieves today but cant report stolen designs from this brand.. QIIUYGJH .
